Hot Wheels! Please bring out Sizzlers cars. I don't care who have the rights of Sizzlers cars. I like Mattel cars better then other die cast cars. The Mattel just came out in Target Mattel Cars 2 Charge Ups.
I've never seen the Playing Mantis cars before.Maybe they didn't make it to the UK; all the good stuff never does! It's interesting that they made the effort to have a removable chassis like the on Hot Wheels XV racers & also Corgi ElectroRockets so you could get the batteries out.
Why did Mattel have to seal up the old & new Sizzlers to make getting them open so much of a pain?! They missed a marketing trick to sell everyone replacement batteries.
Yes, I grew up with the regular hot wheels, as a matter of fact, my parents got me the very first "Drag Race Set", I believe it was Christmas 1967/8. (I still have every one of my original cars). I never had Sizzlers either when they first came out, don't know why, just never asked for them...
As a side note, a good friend of mine made a scale model of the Hindenburg, filled with helium and the propellers were driven by Sizzler motors!
Sizzlers were cool. I was just getting a little too old for these (& girls were starting to mean a little more to me) but wished I could have played with these.

@mainmahon they sealed them for safety reason ...so a child wouldn't easily open them and get to the acid battery..
