@glubschy In tekstyle it is common to do the occasional move that looks completely naff. It grabs attention, makes the dance stand out.

Thats why so many dancers will still grab one leg and put the other hand on the side of the head and flap about like an injured bird posing for a modelling contest. They still use that move to stand out to the audience. I still use it when shuffling.

I checked your video out. Not bad but too much AE Glow used.

also to point out, this is not a Crew, as most people think it is, its a community. And we don't make the video to show off, its to show what we've been up to. Not everyone is great, but we all improve as we learn from eachother each time.

she could do the basics sure, but it gets more complicated than that.

but a dance isnt measured by who could do it. Take the Slosh, thats really popular, and really easy. It looks alright and goes well with the music. And thats all that matters.

What attracts us to jumpstyle initially is that the basics are easy to pick up and learn. But its what you do after that that matters.

but if your a bigger guy then don't let that put you off. There are some big jumpers out there. Like Wolf, who you can see in the video TJP Always in the Heart. He's really good.

great question. The Kodak Zi6 pocket HD camera.

it's not available anymore and has been replaced with the Kodak Zx1. Atlho next month the Kodak Zi8 will become available also. Except it will be able to record at 1080p @ 30fps, giving you full HD :)

Both my camera and the Zx1 can record at 720p at either 30fps or 60fps, which gives you a crazy smooth picture.

Pricing is about £130 depending on where you look :)

This is jumpstyle, look it up. It's practiced all over the world now. For americans look up BoA Black and BoA Double Helix. For the worlds best look for Danniel and Samurai.

absolutely not lol. Scotland Jumpstyle is basically the community, which atm is run through the bebo page. We will be organising jump meets and trying to promote the community.

That's not to say me and stew are going to join any other crew anytime soon, but we could, and Scotland Jumpstyle wouldn't change. It's about the community and finding the jumpers who are out there right now and creating some new ones along the way.

look up the video Belgiums Best. some are far more bouncy in that. It depends on the jumper, but tek has no set rules except there are no basis and always a freestyle.
