ummmm those cars have rev limiters at 6250 rpms trust me I know alot about the 5.0s he was off the rev limiter. If the engine was breaking up it wouldnt be doing burnouts like that. The valves arent floating cause the rev limiter wouldnt allow the engine to get up enough rpms on that engine to float the valves

Wrong! Ford didn't start installing the 140mph speedo in 5.0L Foxes until 1989. And even then not all 89's got them, Ford wanted to use up all the left over 85mph units first. BTW, the ones prior to 89' are 85mph(used in both the 4 banger and 5.0's) not 80mph. And like foxstang92 mentioned, it doesn't mean shit anyway, theres a lot of 5.0 convert 4 banger LX's out there.

no, the bodies are the same, in a good conversion where they use 5.0 rims you really can't tell the difference only the vin can tell the story!there were 4 cyl hatchbacks and 4 cyl notchbacks ..both can be fully converted to 5.0 5speeds

im 15 and i have an 87 camaro with a custom cherry bomb exaust sounds nasty i only paid $300 for the car all it needs is a intake manifold because the threads broke off where thermostat housing bolts to it causing it to leak water it will go at least 150mph i know becuase my dads friend has a "MUSTANK" cobra that goes 150 on his speedometer and mine can hang with it but im not 4 sure how fast mine will to do my speedo only goes to 80 but my camaro will waste any stock mustank
