Stair Glitch Tutorial

Sometimes when I do this glitch, when I'm going really fast I end up glitching from the endless stairs into the wet-dry world picture. Anyone have the same problem?

some how i did that at the beginning at the first try i went into dry-wet course some how then i modded my controller at the beginning at the stairs then tele-ported in bowsers painting then the song plyed my bro was laughing his a** off wen he said the beginning of yahoo over and over realy fast lol

Hmm, I did this twice but now I can't pull it off again...

I have the backwards long jump down, but whenever I try gettin' up the stairs I can't get enough momentum, Mario just keeps doing one backwards jump at a time, and then when I keep trying for a while, he eventually just jumps up the normal way and I hafta start the long jump again. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I plan on getting the 70 stars anyways and at 53, but I gotta see the look on my brother's face when I do the stair glitch :)

Are you doing it on the N64 version? Also, make sure to keep the camera pointing in the direction of the stairs going up. It takes a little practice. Check out my updated video (see video response). It might help.

here's how to do it on DS. Getan AR activater the following cheats moon jump sprint slowfalls and all doors unlocked if you don't have 50 stars.. sprint up the stairs then do wall jump until your heads in the roof hold up ond d-pad a and b and youll notice a little jump thats you going through the invisible wall and bam your done!!! oh yeah 1st person ever to find that out :D
