The crazy thing is he most likely was able to go from farther back than the free throw line. did yall see how his body seems to fly right to the hoop? if he outstretches his arm to full length to dunk he could jump from probably 13 feet instead of the free throw line...but we'll never know now

Slam dunk contests: OK. Slam dunks in a basketball game: bad idea. Anyone who's tall enough can dunk. Think about this: in hockey, the equivalent of a slam dunk would be for a player to pick up the puck, skate to the other goal and put it in the net. No problem. Let's just get rid of the dunk and bring the sport back to how it was meant to be played. The hoop was put 10 feet off the ground for a reason: so you'd have to shoot the ball to score a basket. Any other way is, well, cheating.
