  • is it just me or is the dialogue just really redundant?

  • wow.....lots of g1 refrence

  • Does the "Transformers Movie", the one from the 80's, have anything to do with this? Isn't megatron supposed to kill Optimus in the future, the future when humans have rocket boards?

  • @MrInfidelicLord No, it doesn't. It's a different continuity, different Optimus Prime and Megatron/Galvatron.

  • @AeonMagnus In a way that makes me a little sad. Gone are the days when there is just one universe. =-(

  • @MrInfidelicLord Those days were very, very short. Even in G1, the cartoons and comics presented different continuities, and even between the US comics and the UK ones. The US Marvel comic debuted before the cartoon, so as soon as the first cartoon episode aired, we were already in a continuity split.

  • "No one cares about you!" i would have cried "Really...you guys dont care..." (T.T)

  • so too epic *_*

  • these CGI versions were made solemnly to look like the toy so much that they even have the screw holes in them, but still the series was great

  • Jetfire is Scottish! Red Alert is British! These guys have the coolest accents!

  • Which transformers cartoon is this?

  • @Saicofake Transformers: Cybertron, the sequel to Armada and Energon.

  • I love how the Optimus model includes the little tab to put up the mouthplate from the toy!

  • still no galvatron is more bad ass than g1, mother fucker was nuts! the only one who is more bad ass than him is Victory, dezaras, he was pure evil

  • @waysted199 I refuse to call any Galvatron that name if he's only a repaint of Megatron.

  • @tiggger24 actually, in Japan, the TF Energon one was supposed to be Galvatron till the end

Also in Japan only the Cybertron Galvatron is a repaint of Megatron

  • @akumashindorballomu Ok, that makes it a little less silly on the original writers part, but it still silly and annoying that they did it in the english dub.

  • @tiggger24 In Japan, he wasn't Galvatron all the way through to the end. It goes like this:

    English:

Armada Megatron → Armada Galvatron → Energon Megatron → Energon Galvatron → Cybertron Megatron → Cybertron Galvatron

    Japanese:

Micron Legend Megatron → Super Link Galvatron → Super Link Galvatron General → Galaxy Force Master Megatron → Galaxy Force Master Galvatron

  • @AeonMagnus But he never got a new body did he?

Excluding the redesign in each new series.

  • @tiggger24 since Micron Legend and Super Link are tied together stronger than with Galaxy Force it is safe to assume that Super Link Galvatron is the new body of Micron Legend Megatron :)

But if u accept the premise that all 3 series are linked then he got 2 new bodies after the end of Armada xD And the last body got a repaint for the sake of being named Galvatron again in Japan :P

  • I guess you could except that, but then again everyone got a "new body" in super link(Sorry if I got that wrong, I don't know all the Japanese name and I'm just putting two and two together) Rarely did a character look the same from Micron Legend to Super Link and same with Galaxy force, although Galaxy force is very loosely based on Micron/Link. I also give Super link an A for keeping him Galvatron in the beginning and not calling him Megatron just to have him change his name again.

  • @tiggger24 Agreed, and Micron Legend (Armada) did the same with him, he was Megatron until the end when he fell into Unicron. And in the next series, Super Link, he is reborn in Unicron as Galvatron.

Too bad that the eng dubbers didn't get that much of a deal.

  • @akumashindorballomu Interesting, if I ever do re-watch Micron Legends I'll have to watch the Japanese version with english subtitles.

  • @tiggger24 if you ever find a micron legend series with english subtitles, I'd love to see it as well :D

however, there's 1 reason why I won't enjoy them fully and that's because I got used to Michael Dobson's Starscream and David Kaye's Megatron. They just fit these roles perfectly and I don't think I could watch a whole series with a Megatron sounding like a grumpy old man and a Starscream sounding like a generic anime hero *though the latter would be interesting*

  • 2:15 that chitchat reminds me of the first transformers movie. Optimus vs megatron.

  • just imagine if peter cullen did the voice of optimus prime in this transformers series!

  • this just shows how weak they made optimus in this show......i mean getting stabbed in the back is one thing but getting a wing cut off, thats just too weak.

  • As soon as the hero gets a sword....you know something bad ass is about to happen.

The sword is the most bad ass of all weapons.

  • Shinning Optimus Prime!!! did they make a gold version of prime?

  • @vizardnaruto3 Naturally; the Japanese do like their gold Lucky Draws. Paste into Google: Lucky Draw Gold Galaxy Convoy

There's also a silver version, which should be found by a similar Google string.

There's an entire site dedicated to such figures. Google: luckydrawtransformers

  • At 0:10.... I just noticed Scattorshot there. Poor guy. He's so over looked.

  • Optimas prime battle mode more like.

  • who voiced prime in this and armada?

  • @ThePlank1991 Garry Chalk, voice of Optimus Primal in Beast Wars and Beast Machines, voiced Optimus Prime in Armada, Energon and Cybertron.

  • I find the Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Energon, and Cybertron) enjoyable for its campiness.

  • 4:11 Isn't that the deflection you can perform in dragonball raging blast 1 to deflect an opponents ultimate move lol?

  • Optimus went super saiyan

  • @addis28 And it's awesome!

  • Just because you've got G1 movie lines in your series, doesn't make it any less horrible.

  • Yeah, us roundeyes dooz it better. Yawwwnn....20 min show....15 mins of dialogue, three minutes of canned animations, 30 seconds of combat and 30 seconds of "friends" whining about the combatants. Laaaaame. Almost as bad as the "Ultra Super Duper Mega-Zord Mecha" model wing-ed Optimus Prime. It's Transformers, not "Generic Dragonball vs Gundam Anime Mashup".

  • @SirWadsalot

Wow, you can put a lot of negatives just in one comment. Not that it is a good thing but whatever. So, uhh, it isn't as lame as repetitive g1 episodes?

  • at 3:26 is that the apple of eden from assassins creed

  • @mrfuturegohan looks like that doesn't it it's actualy a inter galactic map of sorts but instead of showing the layout of the universe it shows the locations of several items of great power known as the cyber planet keys and the omega lock

  • This confirms that prunus never really FOUGHT starscream so much as kick his ass

  • shame that transformers final fights have suck since this transformers series onward:

  • @Ultramarpdfsarg1

    That's not true . . . you know that . . .

  • Optimus prime: proving that you don't need to change size, colour or whole body to be a complete and utter badass

  • FOR STARSCREAM!!!

  • Optimus has always found a way to prove that he is a prime worthy of the matrix of leadership

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that kid

  • Dear god that sucked. Transformers really went down the toilet until Prime returned the series to its former glory. Seriously, Optimus won through the power of friendship? Screw that!

  • @Hannibal457 reminds me of how Galvatron was defeated in Transformers: Headmasters. I swear, that scene damaged my masculinity(manliness).

  • @Hannibal457 yeah lets all jump on the optimus prime bandwagon so that everyone can convince the writers of all the transformers shows to make prime so much more powerful than megatron just to please the 75% of transformers fans that have the same mind set.

  • @THAvidinc That's not at all what I'm talking about. This show is full of over dramatized transformations and special moves (something transformers shouldn't have) and completely campy dialogue. Optimus and Megatron should be evenly matched, having Optimus win through the power of friendship is childish and just plain stupid. The entire anime trilogy of transformers is horrible.

  • @Hannibal457 i know i was agreeing with you while at the same time suggesting that they just want to get a ton of viewers cause they know that little kids that only like optimus prime cause he the good guy will like this because hes "special"

  • @THAvidinc No offense but you didn't sound like you were agreeing with me.

  • @Hannibal457 i was thinkig that right after i posted it. sorry

  • @THAvidinc It's fine

  • Seriously how does Optimus do anything with all that stuff on his back?

  • anyone else notice the veiled ref to raoh vs kenshiro here?

  • How I wish this show was American made. Much less talking...much more fighting.

  • @TriezeXion The amount of talking was _increased_ by the English dub team. There are long slabs of silence in the original Japanese version. For example, compare the Galaxy Force and Cybertron versions of Primus transforming for the first time (in my channel).

  • @AeonMagnus I did that, and I gotta give credit to the english writers for doing a phenomenal job considering what they had to do (fill the slabs of silence with interesting bits of dialogue while keeping the same amount of animation without damaging the scene.) The Galaxy Force one is written horribly: "What are you doing sticking your fist out there?" "This." *punch* as opposed to: "your performance is so convincing, I almost want to applaud" "Then let me give YOU a big hand." *punch*

  • @TriezeXion

The dialogue in this series is kinda brilliant anyway, so really, it ain't a much of a big deal. But just like AeonMagnus said, the American version actually have more talking. . . I don't know if that actually is a big surprise.

  • ugh, what a drawn out snore fest

  • AEC sucked, but when they brought it they brought it!

David Kaye really brought life to the series playing Megatron as a completely different character then in the beast era.

Gary did a great job too, but more often then not you could tell he was just reading lines instead of preforming.

  • Optimus what a big penis, I mean sword you have.

  • Nakama Power?

  • this is how the movie final battle shouldve been like

  • its dbz all over again them glowing and flying whats next super super mode

  • haha, Optimus hitting below the belt with the insults! 7:44

Op: No one cares about you!

Me: That hurt my feelings too! haha

  • @Arballo420Cali I know! I understand that Optimus was absolutely right when he said that, but even I felt that one sting.

  • @Arballo420Cali yeah and besides op was wrong thunderblast diid god she loved him as much as harley quinn loved the joker

ps i said loved because in one timeline she fell in love with the green goblin

  • coolest transformers TV show final battle EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Galvatron: "Why throw away your life so recklessly?"

Optimus: "That's a question you should ask yourself, Galvatron!"

    G1 movie reference much? ^^

  • @soseztheleadr Yessssssssssss total G1 reference

  • @soseztheleadr Total G1 refrence

  • @soseztheleadr LOTS of references in this clip. "One shall stand, Galvatron!"

Gary Chalk is who I want for a hot-blooded Optimus Prime and David Kaye is so hammy as Megatron and Galvatron.

  • @soseztheleadr but doesn't Rodimus say that and not Optimus?

  • @OnlyOneTyping Optimus Prime says "That's a question you should ask yourself" at the Battle of Autobot City.

  • @soseztheleadr And unlike "One shall stand, one shall fall", it hasn't been over-used!

Also, "I still function" was a G1 movie reference

  • @soseztheleadr or how about I still Function megatron said that before Starscream threw him out of Astrotrain

  • @soseztheleadr Cybertron was constantly quoting G1. The dragon guy, I forget his name and frankly I just don't care enough for the show to look it up, once quoted Shockwave in a way. Shockwave line was "Such noble nonsense." and dragon guy said "Such violence nonsense." which then get rewritten again for Megatron to say "Such heroic nonsense."

    Just a little fun fact.

  • @soseztheleadr Correction the line was rewritten first for Megatron in the 86 movie not in Cybertron.
