I think that the priest is killed by reason. Namira hates Arkay and his priests, so when you eat one of his own she's pleased with you. Remember Namira's quest in Oblivion? Priests of Arkay wanted to "purify" her followers hiding in darkness. They weren't cannibals or anything else. Priests of Arkay brought light, which actually hurt her followers, because they prefer more the darkness. So I think Eola and the others wanted you to earn Namira's favor by desecrating, eating the priest

Does anybody know if anything else is going to happen if you select "That's a lot of work for such a little thing..." after getting the ring? Namira says something like somebody else is going to kill me and get the ring from me one day. So I'm just wondering if you're going to get attacked by a cannibal later. Tried looking this up but nobody seems to mention that option.

the ring itself is much more helpful than the gold. health/mana regen and increase in stamina in the ring has better worth.

I made extra saves just to see what happens. Could not imagine Dovahkiin as a cannibal so I decided to kill all the cannibals and let the priest live. There are like no people in Markarth now lol. Could care less about the ring...I prefer passive buffs.

The ring is a daedric artifact. So if you want to collect all 15 and get the achivement you'll have to give thier exotic cuisine a try.

I'm a Khajiit anyway. So I'm on top of the foodchain.

For some reason Eola always attacks me after killing all the draugs. I never hit her or anything. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have load back several times but no effect.

@Xddcy1 Well I did..and I felt rly bad afterwards (even though the ring is actually quite good). So I reloaded and offed all them cannibals. Did Eola with a nice one hit sneak move.

I'm pretty glad that when I took them out I got something out of it, but I just hope that it doesn't effect the game since I failed that quest.

@Xddcy1 Hmm of course there may be some consequence later on, whether you choose to immediately kill Eola, lead her on and kill all the cannibals, or join them. Joining them probably gives you the most rewards though: that ring with +50 stamina and health regen when feasting is a real boon. You can still be the good paragon hero but one with a nasty little secret that really comes in handy..

aw wow. I was doing this quest and at the last moment I decided I couldn't kill him, so I turned on all the canibles killed them all and a scene happens where the guy wakes up says thnk u and give u his staff.

@Flotsome But you miss out on the ring!! +50 stamina and increased health and regen on feeding off the dead. You get the staff too after you search his body. I still killed them all too lol.
