I guess he likely likes his clip-ons. I'd never own a bike with them, because you can't enjoy them for more than an hour at a time without wrist and shoulder fatigue, unless of course you weigh 150 pounds or less.
I didn't like that my bars were all commutered out like a ninja 250 or something. I loosened up the top two riser bolts and rotated them down to a very slight downturn. Turned the grips down, so that the levers are settled on my hands relaxed. Looks rad.
I notice your clutch is a bit noisy like mine too. If you pull in on the clutch it goes away and when you let out on it the noise comes back again. I haven't figured out why yet. I pulled the clutch cover and the clutch itself seems fine. I re-torqued the clutch springs just to be sure but no difference. One thing I did notice though is that the oil pump chain is very loose on these bikes. I guess the GSXR750 and 600 are too.
Ok I guess that Mr Anthony5189 was the one who Gave me the -1. So incase you did not know it is official the GSX 650 F is a Bandit 650 witha fairing. That's it plus other parts from the GSX- R family. I have had a Suzuki Katana 1998 for 4 years now. It has clip on and the sitting position is pretty good for me. Every thing about the 650 F is sexy beside the handle bars and maybe few more things. But anyway thanks for the info Mr anthony.
very nice bike but for all of us that don't know the new katana is a recyclable bike. You may say that it is bandit 650 with faring. Suzuki did mess up with the handle bars, what going on with that? Could they not use the clip on ones? My 1998 Katana has it.
Clip ons would ruin the ergos of the bike. They want to leave the rider with a upright riding position, if they put on clip ons, the rider would be leaning over the tank. Not ideal for this type of bike.
Different strokes.

One other question...
Where did you get the wheel stripes? They look cool! I'd like to add blue or white ones to mine.

I have the same bike in blue and I love it!

I agree with the comments about the Bars, they look wrong with the fairing, if i get one i willchange them for something lower.

The only downside to this bike is IMO it could use just a tad more aggressive bars, like the kat, other than that, great bike!
