Having said that I must also say the following: the fact people reach nearly the end of the game without even knowing the basics (how to steer the character properly) it's a testament to how bad this game really is.

after 2 weeks falling off the nerve-wracking chain ( going the wrong way) I finally got it!! As you grab the chain with your hand, you have to:

1) get Lara to face the platform you need to reach ( other side opposite the counter-weights)

2) keep your "W" ( forward) pressed

3) at the same time keep hitting "E" until you (finally) arrrive on the other end

so anyone know if theirs a button u have to press on the xbox to make her clime faster? im getting frustrated, and all the walkthroughs of this game r on the ps3!!!! what do u do to make her clime faster on the chain? i even tryed standing up on the chain and well i can but she only walks for like 3 yards then stops...WHAT DO YOU DO????

if its triangle on the PS3 its gonna be Y on the xbox simple as that. the controls are exactly the same just labelled differently

this game is so hard, mainly due to the dodgy controls. can anyone tell me how to make her move faster along the moving chain at around 2 minutes in the clip. even though i keep her moving she always gets taken back and knocked off. so there must be some way of making her move faster along it.

you must have figured it by now, but it's triangle on the PS3, you have to keep tapping it. Don't know for anything else. Guess it would be whatever the melee button is.

When Lara took the Hammer of Thor in her hands I think I almost came in my pants... this game is EPIC.

I know it sounds crazy, but because of this game, I have Uncharted 2 on hold, and haven't played it because I want to finish Lara Underworld first!!!

Just do it the way I did? If you don't jump directly you'll get killed everytime.

Just like any other headshot. I can't really answer that since I don't know which platform you're playing. To people who don't know these things my suggestion is leave hints on( they're on by default) and pay attention when they show up on screen.

Hi friend i have solid solution for this , i was stick this for a long time but thing is only is=front and press rapidly (e button). e is action in this game and only in hangin, its work,tomb raider director only brain storming .anyway.bye bye :)
