  • Pets are supposed to be free human trash

  • @snowbirdy6 i hope you realize and appreciate how very lucky you are to keep such an animal...i've wanted an Iguana since i was ten, however my government is so fucked up they deemed it illegal.

  • I was ran a herpetology group in Atlanta for 25 years I have kept many iguanas several lived to ripe old ages of over 20 .I have helped many people bring back iguanas from deaths door. All of you guys that have to comment and say negative stuff just to be a downer should know This Iguana Is The Picture Of Health and is a beauty of a male in full breeding colors which is in itself a testimony to his fine health !

  • its a dragon, it will grow to 60ft and then it will eat you, youve been warned

  • Dang...thats freaking amazing XD i love MR. WIZARD'S tail!

  • Twizzle, twazzle, twozzle, twome - time for this one to come home.

  • god, an iguana comes when called but a cat is to stuck up to do anything, amazing.

  • 0:18 oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy,!

  • He is very cute.

  • I'm gonna say he realized the cat was there, and that was why he didn't come the rest of the way. Cool trick though. How long does it take to train a reptile? I've never even thought about doing that. I have an emperor scorpion and he's got a fairly good temperment, I'm convinced he knows what hurts and what doesn't because he's very gentle to people but he loves to pinch everything else.

  • oh and he´s dehydrated -.- they need more humidity than we need

  • @picball39 How do you know he's dehydrated? Mr.Wizard has his own cage and if their out of their cage it wont hurt them. Get off these videos you don't know what your talking about!

  • @picball39 Do you even know anything about iguanas -__-

  • wow, his nose looks bad, he´s not green anyway anymore, his eyes are red...one unhealthy poor thing..

those animals are not made to keep them in rooms :(

  • @picball39 You don't know what your talking about male iguanas turn very orange during the breeding season and I think Wizard looks very healthy and they do best when they have their own rooms! Do your research before you comment!

  • nice dinosaur

  • Aw now I want an iguana! XD

  • lol i want one its better then a freaking dog! Oh and he was gorgeous by the way:)

  • lol at 0:20 Yes???? lol XD

  • hahaha pretty funny!

  • like a BOSS!

  • Amazing Iguana.

  • what kind of Iguana is that such a beautiful color want one just like that

  • @zakkwide It's a green iguana and only males look like that during breeding season any other time their mostly green. If your going to get one please do your research their very rewarding animals:)

  • is there a specific name for this kind (as in color) ?

I want a colors one like this - whats the average of the life span also?

  • @CASSINOx Average lifespan for an iguana is over 10 years, 15 with good care. Make sure to rescue one instead of buying a baby; these guys are the most-abandoned reptile in the US and they need good homes! Do your research :)

  • @CASSINOx It's a green iguana oly males look like this during breeding season and they live anywhere between 12 and 20 years if cared for propertly remember to do your research if you want one:)

  • What type of iguana is he? Please respond

  • @EverythingBallPython He's an Iguana Iguana :)

  • @EverythingBallPython He's a green iguana

  • How long did it take you to train him ?

  • he's adorable !

  • xD What does it mean when it nods to head! lol! Its so cool!

  • @SoundGauge Head-bobbing is like a dog barking; it can mean a bunch of things. Here, he either sees his reflection or he's really excited to see her.

  • you live with a fucking dinosaur!!!

  • @08poochie08 Lol

  • do u talk him on walks on a lesh and people always comment

  • i often feed my iguana vegetables

  • aaaw, isn't he just adorable? I love it when they close their eyes and do the "I don't see you, so you don't see me"-thing xD

  • hes like "WOMAN GET THAT CAMERA OUT OF MY FACE!"

  • Haha, that lizard is like; ...your asshole does not please me, cat.

  • my cat looks exactly like that!

  • when the cat kissed it Mr wizard was like ^.^

  • licking the floor every couple feet xD

  • @XxRedSkyWarningXx They have baby ones at Petco

  • Wait a minute.. ARENT YOU THE OWNER OF JUPITER WHO GETS VOICEOVERS FROM THAT GUY?

  • Aww, so sorry he died but looks like he had a long wonderful life. Have you gotten another one yet?

  • Hey.... He's not green!

  • @XIXNayRXIX It's because in this video it's not breeding season!

  • -Wizard puts head to the side and shuts eyes-

    "Im waiting."

  • beautiful!

  • How old was he at that time?

  • @briysn51094 around 12

  • @snowbirdy6 how did u teach him that

  • @snowbirdy6 how much time did it take for mr wizard to get that large

  • @matter983patter roughly 10 years or so

  • I thought you were 5 until I heard you say 'come on buddy'

  • how you got a cat and an iguana in the same room? wouldnt one kill the other?

  • @Mystikal22693 not mine anyway

  • @Mystikal22693 if u raise 2 animals together they spend their entire lives having a tolerance for that animal. :-)

  • @Mystikal22693 well as u can see by the video they do in fact have a cat and iguana in the same room and they are not in fact killing each other so ur question has been answered

  • wow...he is amazing.....and big!! How old is he?

  • @MsBooda77 bout 12 here

  • 0:44 after you go "aww" and hes like "yeah im cute innit"

  • My mom said I couldn't get one and I live in NYC so in the future when I'm 18 imma move to jersey and dedicate a whole room for my iggy cause I hate to see them in cages.

  • um juan buddi cum juan

  • @XxRedSkyWarningXx any pet shop. and they are LOTS AND LOTS of work. do your research.

  • @snowbirdy6 i live in canada very close to the arctic. do i need a supply of heat 24/7 if i get one of these?

  • @darkknight302 absolutely.. even not in the arctic heat must be supplied 24/7

  • @snowbirdy6 oh i won't look into getting a reptile then..... it was -50 degrees Fahrenheit last year here -76 with the windchill lol i think siberian husky would be a better pet here

  • @darkknight302 woo.. yes. I think an iguana would perish. A Husky or Malamute is a much better choice!

  • @darkknight302 Huskies are a LOT of work, they take time to tame. Make sure to look into the pet your plan on getting.

  • How heavy do these iguanas get

  • 0:18 hes like yeah im here

  • lol that's such a cute name!

  • THE MOST BEUTIFUL IGUANA I`VE SEEN.. GORGEOUS....

  • food trail really ? Obviously you have never had iguana before they lick EVERYTHING when they walk around good job training him by the way I have two myself my female is good bit our male not so friendly lol

  • Maybe it did know its name,I would like to have seen her call it when it was outside. Not just when it was walking that way ,anyway.I have serval lizards that know their names. I can call my lizards without them evan seeing me,or make them backup 8ft. when calling them.It can be done, just wish there were more videos. Thanks for the video.

  • @bigboy3293 he wasnt walking that way. I was already calling him and started the video a bit late. have some respect will ya?

  • @snowbirdy6 Sorry,I thought I was showing respect.Like you said you started the video late, and I didnt see that note.People were saying it was following a food trail, and I said maybe it did know its name.As you can see I was explaining that lizards do learn their names.I am glad you worked with your lizard, more people should do that.I looked on your channel and couldnt find anymore of you calling him,do you have anymore? Anyway nice looking lizard, and I am sorry if I offended I didnt mean to.

  • @bigboy3293 nah ok. no problem.. you get a lot of heat on youtube.. poeple thinking they know everything about my animals.. ya know? and no.. unfortunately I do not have any other videos of him.. when I had him, digital cameras and video cameras were not a big thing yet.. I mean I had one noisy nikon.. but I really didnt get a whole lot of video of him coming when called.. he ALWAYS ran to me when he knew I had sweet potatoes.. they were his favorite. He isn't alive anymore, so no more vids. :(

  • @snowbirdy6 So were Cool? I put dozens of videos of my lizards coming to me when their called, that way people can be sure they do learn their names. With videos like yours and mine, maybe more people will understand its not just a fluke, and lizards are smarter then we think. Thanks again for the video and for teaching your lizard its name ,Wizard

  • @snowbirdy6 thats true, iguanas DO have their own distinct personalities and do recognise their owners.

  • @snowbirdy6 Respect and youtube don't mix, like shit and strawberry shortcake. Sorry doll :(

  • i love mr. wizzard!

  • my iguanna is maybe 7m old and her toes are curling in she is in an 100g tank is that bad?

  • @reptileboii44 curling in??? do you have proper lighting? UVB lighting that is? enough heat?? are you feeding her calcium and vit d supplements?

  • @snowbirdy6 yes curling in like a fish hook i have a 100w day uvb and 100w night uvb basking in the higher LVL and colling in the bottom i also calcium vit-D on her veggies not on her fruits.

  • @reptileboii44 make sure not to give too much fruit.. their staple should be veggies.. no spinach. hmm.. I really don;'t know why.. have you taken her to the vet?

  • @snowbirdy6 yeah they said its not a big deal because they have no bones in they toes so its normal but when i look on here at other peoples iguannas there toes are not curled. it started as one toe now its 3 on the left foot and 2 on the right. i never give her spinach. and i did give her fruit alot thanks for that tip.

  • @reptileboii44 curling toes means he has a vitamin deficiency. It could also be MBD as I mentioned before. Are you positive that the lights you are using are UVB? How old are they? Make sure they are still providing proper UVB, if they are old, they will not put it out anymore. Are you sure the calcium you are giing her has vitamin D in it? If not, get it right away .. and are you sure you are giving her enough of the powder on her food??

  • @snowbirdy6 yeah the lights are UVB i went to the pet store and check also the calsium is D3 reptivite by zoomed and the lights are 31/2 months old.

  • @snowbirdy6 no offense but im not retarded u put like a food trail... im 12 im not that dumb lol.

  • @TheFlamingoXD no. there is not food trail. iguanas taste things when they walk.. its normal..watch again.

  • @TheFlamingoXD Yeah ^ even my bearded dragon tastes the ground like that when it walks around.

  • MAKE ONE MORE VIDO AND THAT INGA WILL BITE YOUR FACE OFF! but hay nice and a gave it a thums up

  • Do they bite? I really want one, but i dont want to get bitten by a miniature dragon.

  • @BillyTheMilkMan I heard they dont really bite, but they hit you with their tail which I heard can be as bad as being hit by a baseball bat. But this only happens if you get them really really annoyed.

  • I saw this video years ago and to this day mr wizard is still the most beautiful iguana I've seen, I'm sorry to hear about his passing.

  • is it just me or at 00:43 after the cat like kissed him he was all like ^_^ <3

  • What led you to name him Mr. Wizard?

  • This is really cool :D. Your iguana is awesome ^^. It's really cool everything that they do, and I really like them. I've wanted to get one ever since I saw this video of tons of them (well, not iguanas but a different type of lizard) crawling over this guy, just coming right up towards him. It was pretty cool :D. But, are iguana's usually very friendly to other household pets?

  • @Gerkenflauger i honestly don;t know.. I tend to raise extra-ordinary pets.. ;)

  • @snowbirdy6 You really seem too XP. I guess I was just wondering because I have a huge soft spot for dogs and cats, so I guess I was wondering if iguana's might snap at them. But I think, just by watching Mr. Wizard, that iguanas wouldn't do that... they seem like big, sweet, lugs :D!

  • Maybe this is a dumb question,

But do you need to have a constant temperature or anything in your house, if you want to have a iguana walking around the whole day?

  • @Mexxi0 well I had his cage setup so that he could wander where he wanted and then climb up on top of his cage under the basking lights.. so I did not

  • bearded dragons are cooler and cuiter

  • @TytheGuy3030 i hav a beardy and i wouldnt like to hav that thing, but your rong in saying a beardy is cooler than that m8

  • Aw! He really looked like he was smiling and I loved it when he closed his eye waiting for a stroke. He tilted his head like he was a bit intelligent too. Bless him. How long ago did he die? Sorry for you loss. I guess it's true that all things will have their individual personalities like us humans x

  • how did u get him to know his name cause ive been teaching my iguana to come when i call him but he still dont listen

  • hes just like (f you b****) jk

  • do they poop everywhere?

  • @cabelasportsmen no, he was litter box trained

  • @snowbirdy6 "no, he was litter box trained"

    Is that sarcasm? lol...

  • @LyleVertigo NO.. He really was, no lieing.. always used his litter box but maybe a handful of times throughout his life

  • @snowbirdy6 That's crazy, I thought that they have no control over their bowl movements like birds.

  • @Lewis7632 i'd rather be called mr. wizard than LEWIS. Douchebag.

  • can you teach me how did you do that? myne doesn't like me, she hits me with her tail when I come close to her.

  • haha

  • My ijuana look jst like that but but its dark green and how did u teach it to be nice and bob its head

  • HOLY SH... that thing is huge!! do they.. bite?

  • @iRepWickedClownsz he never bit me.. not one time

  • HOW DO YOU GET AN IGUANA THAT COLOR

  • @marcusmunoz9900 They come in all sorts of colors naturally, and humans breed them to get more exotic colors too

  • What a peculiar character.,^-^, God Bless.x

  • @snowbirdy6 aha...and um how old was he in that video?i wanna buy a Green Iguana but here in Greece prices are waaay to up so you know....i try to find something...

  • @reymysterio136 an iguana bobbing its head is a common sign of communication

  • @itsdrooo oh,ok thx! :)

  • Awwweee. :)

  • Awwww, he/she looks so happy cute! RIP :(

  • OMG can you teach a Chinese water dragon to do that?! I'm so gonna try! Check out my lizards on my page!

  • @xXsaintpieXx aww thats cruel :/ i had to look after one in school and they are so affectionate... when you feed them XD

  • @Danirocks121 just saying they look huge but pretty cool

  • Cat: *Kiss*

    Wizard: Awww shucks.

  • @fladoodel comment is being deleted because of language..

but what you need to do is NOT LET GO. hold onto him until he stops lashing and freaking out. Once he calms down completely.. let him go. He has to get in his mind that when you hold him, he can be calm. It will take time, it is not going to happen over night.. be patient.. you can do it. Also hand feed him.. that will help too.

  • @snowbirdy6 Ok thank you. But he wont take my food?

  • @fladoodel you mean the food you are trying to hand him? keep at it.. he will.

  • Cute name! Clearly a very tame iggy. You must have put a lot of work into that ^_^ Why was the poor guy dragging his back leg though? Did he have something wrong with his hind legs?

  • I love how he is licking the floor as you call him XD

I have a question are Igaunas hard to care for?

  • @TheCrazySpot well, they aren't easy and they aren't cheap.

  • @snowbirdy6 yes they are :D Got one yesterday for 30$ :) hes in a zilla tank with perfect lightning and humidity. hopefully he grows big like yours :)

  • @webkinzgirl008 the question was are they hard to care for. and yes, they are. you just bought one without researching cost? good luck with that. You have to always buy new enclosures when they grow and replace bulbs and heat. Food alone, that is, feeding them correctly and supplementing right, is expensive. The animal purchase itself is never the expensive part.

  • @snowbirdy6 i know. parents said theyll help me :) im getting him vitamin and calcium powder and spray and more bulbs from my pet warehouse store. hopefully you werent mad and insulted at me :(

  • @webkinzgirl008 you need to make sure that he has proper UVB lighting. They run about 100$ but will keep your iggy healthy and safe. You must replace them every 2 years. You would also want to pick up a ceramic heating bulb to keep nice and toasty..

  • Oh my is he cute haha, I have a green iguana too but hes a juvenile his name is Emerald

  • that dosent look like a green iguana

  • Sorry for your loss .I had one also for a while but that is one BEAUTIFUL creature you had there. CLASS A.

  • 0:43 awwwwwwwww SOOO cute!!

  • 1:19 nice smile

  • Sorry about the loss of your pets. :(

  • It's like Jurassic Park. Salmonellae is on the skin of reptiles. What did stormy die from?

  • @XxBigKittyxX mr. wizard did not have salmonella. not all reptiles do and not all iguanas do. Stormy died from old age and renal failure.

  • i like how he tilted his head like a dog when you called his name at :35 lmao
