Thanks for posting. You're having a good time They're outstanding instruments, ain't they? I received my ST300 in March '10. I should post a demo too. The world needs to know.
Are those the stock single coils? They sound pretty good. I've grown partial to the sound over the years, having OD'd on metal in my youth. Anyways, sweet stain job on the axe.
thanx man, i have actually did some more mods to the guitar, it has an emg 89 humbucker in the bridge with a push/pull volume/coil tap knob, it has also been upgraded to 18 volts (from 9), if you get a chance check out the new posts on building ypour own signature series guitar
watch my other cube 60 video, it is the first song on it including the intro, i play it using the cube 60 and a humbucker equiped guitar sounds much better
after researching some more aftermarket alternatives, i have settled on a lace sensor dually red/silver for the bridge, the pickup is not excessivly hot but has un equalled chordal defination, strum the guitar and hear each indiviual note in the chord, plus it is harmoinically rich, and best of all it is not sterile in nature, the sound is not compressed (like my dimarzio tone zone) and does not require a battery, it can do metal ok but rock and fusion are it's optimum perfromance genre's
well the lace pick up found it's way into my ibanez guitar, i decided to keep the david gilmour set, but i added a emg 89 to the bridge, all the diference in the world, so i will soon be deleting this video and posting a new one of my finally finished project guitar
new updat i am currently upgrading my emg set by moding them to 18 volts, from my research this should ad warmth and increaste the headroom considerably
I have the Zoom HD8. I would do anything if you would put up a demo video so I can figure out how to use this thing. Just the basics of how to record, save the music, record the drums, and burn the tunes on a CD. I know how to plug in and play through my monitor speakers using the effects and such. The drum machine on it sounds really good. I just cant mix down, save and record.
i have a review i am working on at the present for a lace sensor pickup, but after that i am all yours, plus if you have an e-mail address i can send you a copy of the manual pages that cover that part, it's pretty easy though
it was originally a right-handed David glamour pre-wired pickguard, i placed it on a left-handed pickguard, but all the electronic are righty, and i still have the original pickguard
the david gilmour will be re-mounted on it's original (right handed) pickgaurd and on ebay within 48 hours, it was only played for two product demos, the original prive was 310.00, i am going for 200, my seller name is weapon-x71 - see you there
basic 9 volt battery, it also has a mid booster and a low and high booster which cuts the mids one is called a spc, and the other is called an xpc if i am not mistaken but i will research that and get back to ya
personally you can't beat carvins bang for buck ratio, you get a premium instrument at a great price and it is american made craftsmanship, i have had two carvins a bolt, and a dc400cw, best guitars i ever owned, but i'd like to try a moser custom next time
Are those the S60A pups? Nice tone and playing dood!

@tluckbrown carvin, the worlds best kept secret, you can spend more and get less, or you can go to carvin and get what you pay for
