  • Where i work, the fool thinks his Mondeo is better than an S-class!!!

  • That ride is MUCH MORE QUIETER then the Corolla I drove in!!!!!!!!

    Mercedes are AWESOME!!!!! :D

  • why S is taking all the new stuff i want C to have some also lol i love c 180

  • That is a dream car OMG. Oh well.

  • Mercedes really are the best in the world; however, this does not mean that American cars are bad. Its funny how Europeans love to negatively comment on Americans all the time; its like get a FUCKING life.

  • Bad system. I was forced to turn it off due a lot of other drivers were angry because the system is very much to slow. You sit in the car and think "Turn the hightlights off, turn them off!!! OFF!!!!! Then you do it by yourselfe..." The driver is not only a bit quicker it much more quicker. And in some situations the car doesn't see a reason to turn them off.

  • @1Macfreak MB for lifetime? How many MB's you can see driving around that are over 40 years old? Not so many/not at all. How many Cadillacs or other american classics? There is still many around and they are running well even to this very day!

What I mean to say, European automakers copied nearly everything from American cars. Who invented turbo? Transmission? Air suspension? Air conditioning? Power steering? Cruise control?

All these luxus features were invented by American automaker.

  • @Careica And then they stopped innovating and had to make the tax payers bail them out and now they let the Germans and Japanese do all the innovating. We do still have a few pioneers like Tesla etc. but it's *mostly* not been the big 3 since the '50s and '60s, or the '80s and early '90s for Ford (except for the Fusion and Escape hybrids). America needs to stop resting on its laurels and lead again.

And I actually see quite a few old Mercedes running around still-- more than American classics.

  • @Careica !!! You see, the only slight little issue is that the americans invented it and they didn't updated it. There are quite a few cars made in the USA based on very old basics. The tehnology is dated. The interior of most american cars is very undemanding. A Mercedes especially an S class is always the best car that money can buy...well if you want a limousine. I'm telling this being an Audi fan and owner. American cars are maybe good for you in the US but here in Europe...

  • i think the auto highbeam is respond to light

  • i like the gps. its so easy to read

  • Mercedes S class... the gold standard of cars.

  • what a poor that one chose dislike !!

  • this technology exists from 1990s....

  • i wish more cars would have that. i hate when i am driving and some punkass deceptacon wont turn down their brights.

  • Actually im not picking sides with anyone of them,,im telling u what i see in my country ...and what i see here is that to this day and year ...the S class is still sold, and u can still find many many clean ones ,,,and the cadi's i see here (used ones) are not as clean as mercedes,,the mercedes models im talking about like (1994-1998) S classes,,, and thier price equals and sometimes more expensive than cadilacs with models (2002-2006) ..

  • I can do that manually....no need to pay hundreds of euros.

  • Would this work if I were going, for example 180 km/h?

  • I have to see proof of anything Cadillac or any other American car company did first before mercedes. Especially since Mercedes had the first internal combustion engine and bike.

  • Thats really amazing there.. Keep up the good work Mercedes.. Now put hidden radar jammers in the car some place

  • zeer German iz very smart, yaahh!!

  • Ahem ford will be offering the same feature soon. So?

  • cool, but not cheap i think :)

  • Cadillac had this feature since 1960's

This makes me laught that it takes 50 years for Europeans to install this in their "latest innovation" cars.

  • @Careica

lol you dont wanna compare Mercedes tech. to little old plastic Caddy's.

If it aint Mercedes caddy would not be in existence. idiot

  • @stevomwa1 Hahahaa, the idiot here is YOU. Cadillac is nothing like Mercedes. American cars were a lot heavier than your Mercedes you know why? Because they were full of METAL to make them last long and they engines were big too. So don't be ignorant calling Cadillac plastic. Mercedes is more plastic than Cadillac, fact.

  • @Careica

lol FULL OF METAL, are you kiddin me! Mercedes plastic? hahahaaaa take a Cadillac for one week in the African roads or Australian outback and see what happens you ignorant fool. You have never driven outside of your country so thats why you can say that. tell me, do you see a Cadillac on the road that is 50 years old without any work been done to it. NO, there is isnt even 1. So shut the fuck up kid.

  • @stevomwa1 Why car has to be able to drive on African roads?

Cadillac and as well as Mercedes are made for American and European markets. Specialy Cadillac was made for normal road driving, not off-road.

And why you are moaning? I just told that this "Adaptive Highbeam Assist" from Mercedes is old invention and Cadillac used it in 1960's. Mostly EVERYTHING that modern cars have in Europe was made over 40-50 years ago in America.

  • @Careica

YOu are the most idiotic person I have yet to see. First you mention that Mercedes is made in the America, secondly your dormant brain lies to you again telling you that american cars had inventions 40-50 years ago? are you able to list me a vehicle 40-50 years ago that had these inventions, EISENSTEIN?

  • @stevomwa1 You must be high or something. I never said anything about that Mercedes is made in America are you totaly nuts? Ofcorse it is made in Germany.

My point is that what we see in this video, was used in Cadillac's about 45 years ago. Mercedes is good car, no doubt. Just saying that european car production was and is lacking behind american car production.

  • @Careica My god....in my country we know and its famous about Cadillac...its the one of the best looking cars in the market..BUT its just for about 2-3 years hehehehehe then stuff just automaticly starts to break up :D :D :D ... u cannot compare a Cadillac to a mercedes in terms of reliablity ...here a clean 1995 S Class has the same price of a 2004-2003 cadillac DTS :D

  • @ThunderNaffi Its all about maintance. If you maintain your Cadillac well - you can drive it as long as Mercedes too. Cadillac with 300,000miles and over is not rare to see and they run and look like new. And about S-class, they have a lot of problems too. Base models like C and E-class are the reliable ones. Its just happened to be that all Cadillac were made for luxury.

  • i love it.

  • Охуииительная система!

  • no east no west come up go dowen turn r turn l

    MERCEDES------BENZ $ IS THE BEST %

  • I hate when faggot assholes put their high beams right in your face....

  • its just alittle magic from benz

mercedes-benz are engeneered not like any one

  • That digital dashboard might became a problem over some years.

  • ماشاء الله تبارك الله

  • good for our eyes

  • sure its bixenon. it doesn't only turn off the highbeam automatically, it dims the highbeam to avoid abrupt light situations for the drivers eyes.

  • No BI-xenon headlights?!??!

  • the lights turn

  • does that come standard on the S 550

  • On a BMW ALPINA B5 or B7 All those plus night vision are standart

  • so it dims the window when bright lights are on?

  • no idiot the hight lights turns off when a car pass by

  • @astrolopitekuz It doesn't really turn off. The lights are designed to raise and lower. There is only one headlight bulb.

  • I love benses but i had to take mine back couse all those cool gadgets coused electrical problems mine came with dinamic seats and night vision but i had to take it back every week sensor falier i got a sweet deal on 09 Bimmer 750 i no problems so far and rides way better

  • Congratulations for having a BMW now. That was a good choise! . All that electric gizmo's in cars make them break down more easily. BMW has perfected their systems. Mercedes and Audi could learn from that.

  • @DutchCoasterLover mercedes technology is better than bmw in evry ting read the bookses and history then come back here man ?

  • @batbat0 Haha so if that is the case? then why do so many 2006 and up in building year have so many cases of failing electrics? i mean, my local mercedes dealership (who also sells Maybach) told me this when my uncle's s600 complete interior lighting went berserk.
