I didn't know Marie. I was looking for a video/live version of Kathy Mattea performing her song and I stumbled upon this beautiful tribute. I am deeply moved by the love of Marie, all who loved her and finally the work that went into putting this tribute together. I can't think of a better song to thread it all together and I shed tears of grief, understanding and joy for Marie and all of you.
Oh my goodness! Marie has always been the most fantastic mother and grandmother. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers, most importantly, the kids need someone to lean on!

Marie will be missed dearly! She was like a second mother to my husband Tobe (her nephew) and she will always hold a special place in our hearts!
