I totally get what you are trying to project but I the reason that people watch cartoons, films, TV is because, yes, everday life can be very mundane, and they need that excitement in their lives. It could work with a wittier script and by gradually introducing new characters (other vegetables) etc. It was too quiet, missed on the comedy and wouldn't work on a mainstream basis.

@Betons When we see people in the TV world, or on reality shows, everytime we see them there is something exciting going on. No ones life is that exciting all the time. It gives some people a false impression of what life should be like (nonstop action, drama, and fun). This shows the Average Day for most people, which is Boring. It's making fun of the typical TV/Hollywood world.
