Last post (I know how much I opined): There's no way in the 21st century a retro-Soviet regime will be established, just as much a neo-Fascist regime is unwanted. This is 2008 (goin' to '09), nearly all the world wants & has democracy, free markets, calls for tolerance of different religions, races & cultures, and more concern for women's rights and ending social class disparity. The world we live in wants to moderate capitalism & socialism together without going too far left or far right. +
To assume every "liberal" or "moderate" in the 2-party system (majority of Democrats labeled "left", the other Republicans labeled "right") as a potential Marxist or anti-patriotic seditionist is far-fetched. Same logic applies to name-call every conservative or Republican as a potential fascist or racial nationalist to speak for all the "angry (Christian) white (straight) males" being victims of the "P-C left". The Bush administration's "new right" economic policies caused more damage to us. +
Oh boy, the clip is just neo-con & far-right propaganda to denigrate Obama's victory as a kind of "brainwashing" the American public to elect him. Is this man a mainstream conservative Republican, or a neo-Nazi/NWO-fearing/xenophobe with a hatred of a black man (btw, his Mother is white & he's born in America) with a Muslim paternal ancestor? Obama isn't the first self-named "socialist" voted president: FDR said he was in his first of 4 terms and his "new deal" socialism did saved America. +
Definitely, if anyone can prove to me on our next president (Barack Obama) is an actual member of the CPUSA, the Black Panthers & Al-Qaida by proxy, then that's not truth, but trash. I'm awaiting proof of president Bush is "responsible" or "co-conspired" to make 9-11 occur (still waiting for the far left's turn to convince me). Whether you're liberal or conservative, you got the right to an opinion but if you can't prove a fact on Obama or Bush tied with Al-Qaida, that's wrong. End of story. +
