Well, uh, if you're actually gay then let me rephrase it..... you shouldn't nit-pick someone's performance of the works of one of the most virtuosic piano composers who ever lived.
Amazing, at the ending he conveys the dance-like character of the rhapsody, showing that even in the most virtuosic section there is still musical meaning.
Ohhh, i'm so sad hearing he died... I saw him in a concert in Rosario (Argentina) in 1993 and it was amazing. Fortunately I recorded that concert on a cassette and I received from a friend another recording either. Do you have more recordings? I'm very interested in hearing more....
No, he died in 2007. I was his student for a year or so from 2001-2002. I have his recordings. He is really an amazing pianists, with sometimes unconventional interpretations. But he can really, really play. He was very frustrated all the time, he did not want to take students unless they were on the highest level. Despite him having so many financial problems, I was his only student during this period of time. His facility of playing was amazing! I hope his recordings are distributed more.

Cziffra is nothing my friend he messes around wit halmost every piece. Argerich is a pro so dont compeare her with Cziffra. And Im hungarian so I know who he is.
No, he died in 2007. I know him and his wife quite well. He was living in West Palm Beach, Florida for a long time, and not many people knew of him that well, except for some people associated with the former Palm Beach Invitational International Piano Competition.
I noticed that Liszt is kind of like Beethoven in a certain way :)

@Fallansig So you're saying that you're such a fucking queer that being any other way would be inconceivable? I hadn't thought of it that way.

Hah there are actual total queers in the world you know. That insult only works 99% of the time.

That's much better! Though I wasn't nit-picking his performance, which is great, I was nit-picking the poor quality of the recording.

I agree, it sounds like the microphone was too close or something. The tone is somewhat edgy.

Brilliant interpretation. It is nice to hear a performance that is not a copy of what someone else does. Very, very, enjoyable.

one of the top three interpretations. a very "live" and sentimental pianist.

You know this dude's the shit cuz he has a beard.
This has to be the manliest interpretation of H.R. 6 I've ever heard. I like it :)

Very interesting and valid pianism. Excellent musician and great pianist, no doubts.
The pianists' history often run behind fashion
and industry, and the real values can be others than the most celebrated names.
