  • Well that was very pleasant :)

  • Hi ShawnSheep, nice of you to watch, thx :)

  • No shawnsheep here :) I run a channel called AllForOneFeatures. I've added this video to our video pool. It may be selected by the subscribers to feature for a few days, depending on how they vote and what is randomly-selected for them to vote on. Good luck!

  • Excellent! Thank you, and pardon my error (must be too late in the night here)

I'll explore your channel very soon :)

  • I've wanted to see this place since it opened. Thanks for the tour, Liz. Great job as always.

  • Oh! Happy that I could share it with you, and hope you make it there soon...it really is 'awesome'...

  • mmm...methinks it twaz, yes :D it was a long ride UP...

  • Wonderful, and it's a NEDER free zone :) Excellent video, beautiful subject :)

  • Hi Mother...YES! NEDER FREE!

It truly was a beautiful space :)

AND, the restaurant had excellent cheeses!!! heheeeeee

    :D

  • Cheese is like fine wine and cool chicks - we get better with age!

  • I forgot how beautiful it is there. I need to get back up there.

  • Hi Ann, my thanks for stopping by...yes, I think if one even went for the vistas and gardens alone it would be a most satisfying time :)

  • The lines and open spaces really draw you in. What beautiful architecture and landscaping.

  • Hi Pookie Steve, thanks for joining the tour; the space outdoors on the main level does have that feeling; all the buildings surround a huge plaza :)

If you get to LA, I highly recommend a day there!

  • Who's the architect, do you know?

  • Never mind...I looked it up. it reminded me of Moshe Safdie.

    What an awesome resource!!!

  • You're off the hook and I should know!

Now watch for ze Oz hunk show in Las Vegas next :D (mmm, I guess architecture takes priority in my vids haha)

  • Quite an inspiring place.. and that shot of the two square buildings, wrapped in fog - I don't know why but I find it.. magnificent!

  • Agreed there, Zlot...that fog shot is definitely my fave as well!

Something out of a mystery movie...

Tiz good to see you here...hope to see you post some vids one of these days.

    Lizzz :)

  • Well, I hope I can squeeze something in asap, I'm so busy with my hobbies I can barely keep track of what's going on here :>

I kinda feel bad and under pressure for not making any videos in almost a year now... sheesh, I bet even overdubbing a slideshow would do just fine. I'll see what I can do for my cool subscribers ^^

  • Lovely mini Getty travelogue Liz. I especially liked the three final shots from 3.40sec. Nice music from the Ryan kiddy too! :)

  • Oh, I totally agree on that one (as usual)

    ...nice in the mist, mmm....

And considering your musical talents, I'm pleased that you approve of ze Ryan kiddy...he does a lot of his own composing...but my faves are Leyenda by Albeniz and Recuerdos de la Alhambro by Tarrega...you like?

  • It's the cloest I'm ever going to get to the Getty Centre without a doubt - so THANKS for taking us along on the trip!! A fest even through the camera lens. (And some interesting 'related' links to the right.. off to check that labyrinth... must be the child in me) :-) x

  • Hi Michelle, glad to have you here, and glad you enjoyed the feast, errr...tour! :)

  • I haven't been there since the opening celebrations, and at the time the landscaping hadn't been quite completed, so this was a treat to see the gardens all grown in.

The whole complex is an architectural marvel. Hope they've gotten the art part sorted out by now! hehe

  • I heard it was terribly crowded back then...(you'll have to go again!) I don't know about the art part heheee, but the gardens were beautiful...what a difference landscaping does make :D

That last vid of Italy was a bit of heaven, Lesley...hope to see more!
