I think perhaps some proactive intelligence screening is a good Idea. My priest was searched at the airport, the guy is old and white. I watched a USDA beagle sniff out a pear, apples, muffins etc on people when I went through customs this spring and he was polite and well mannered about it. I see no issues with the Airport security. I recently travelled from Canada to Europe which involved 6 different planes.

Only once did I set the metal detectors off after I had emptied my pockets. They gave me the option of the body scan or the pat down. I went pat down, & in 2 minutes I was on my way.

I think people are too sensitive.
