@USASalim What you say about Schumacher is right. I didn't know you were a fan of Italy, the premium member beside Greece in the club of PIGS. The memory is still good, I mean better than for those teams who didn't even make it to the second round or semifinals. Especially Schumacher is a nice memory. He is one of the many heros of the goal line in Germany among Kahn, Lehmann, Maier, Turek, Koepke, Illgner and so many others. He contributed to the myth of "Panzer". 義大利去死!!!

@sycho67ak They didn't cheat....you may call it not very sportsmanlike, but they have not cheated. Even though people say there were bribes taken....I cannot imagine who has taken bribes from who??? Austrians from the Germans or the way round? Germany scored 1-0 and the game was finished,...there was no more to do, so they didn't do more. Anything else would have been dishonest. Sweet memories....we were very young and there was no better place to grow up than Germany.

Anything less than a win would have knocked Germany out and a German win by a margin higher than 3 goals would have knocked Austria out... Those asshole agreed on the 1-0 score and after Hrubresh scored, both stopped playing
