Anyone can listen to reggae........these were good times......i remember growing up in the 70s in London when we had the original skins ruling the streets......in the blues parties is was black and white unite no hassle no hatred pure love and respect.......days which are long gone.
these arent rudeboys. these are early skinhead kids, girls,= Reggaeboys/ reggaegirls in the UK. Real rudeboys were from jamaica, gansters, robbed/killed others, threatened upcoming artists/feuded with artists, pure trouble makers..around when early reggae..or you can call it skinhead reggae if you must) was sprouting in the early 60's..all the way to the late sixties. rudeboys today? heck no.never.
the first lad the reporter spoke to was like a character straight out of absolute beginners or city of spades, i must read them again its been too long
The original version of this song was a soul/funk tune by The Whatnauts. This version is one of my all-time favourite reggae tunes-bet the original issue's worth a few bob on vinyl...
In reply to dgbril, the tune in the background is called "Message From A Black Man" by The Heptones, released 1970ish on the Bamboo label. Another amazing Studio 1 production from the great Sir Coxone Dodd.

Reggae is the music that only the black man can understand....Oh, and also a few thousand skinheads as well.
