  • This is so wonderful. My eldest sister learned Kathak from my auntie when I was little. My late father and I had a favorite movie, "Sargam" we watched every Sunday. I seek to learn basic steps as an amateur but where to start? It looks like with Sulap. Thank you very much for the instructional portion of your talent.

  • These are Terms in Kathak Dance. Sulap means soft side to side movement like the flame of the candle. Jhoom is the circular movement showing stableness or balance of the dancer, composition smaller then 1 rhytmic cycle, showing Sum as Prominent feature called Mukhda or Mukhra.
