Just to correct a lot of you, the art of war is written about 250 years after Sun Tzu lived, the book is probably written by some very intelligent Chinese generals. They used Sun Tzu´s name to make the book more popular.

The 'art' of war is thus to defeat your opponents without engaging in conflict at all and when conflict is unavoidable, to defeat your opponent as quickly as you can, avoiding at all times drawn out wars.
