  • @BABSINUK The song speaks for itself. - The photograph of the woods near your home, to me, it's special. --- Thank you for sharing

  • @3Wander6ing Hi,yes the lyrics do speak for themselves,I have a friend who does not like trees,Would not want to be stranded on a desert island with her,no soul ,other friends, can't stand country music lyrics or the sound of a steel guitar, they too have something lacking in their moral fibre. No on a desert island with them either.

    Thanks for listening and commenting.

  • Dear Babara: A lot of thanks for writing me. I am really happy to know another Dan Seals'fan. For me Dan Seals is the greatest artist who is perfect in every way. As a journalist, I am going to write a book on him in my language to proclaim his greatness to Thai people. Whenever the book comes out, I'll give you one copy as a gift from your Thai friend. ann from Bangkok, Thailand

  • @01091955able Hi,thank you, just love this song, that photograph of the woods is about 3 miles from home.

My grown up son has recently taken up hand wood carving and has a real spiritual feel for the attributes of the different kinds of wood.

There is so much soul in Dan's voice and the lyrics of this beautiful song.

Thanks for commenting ,do keep in touch.

    Barbara.

  • This song is a masterpiece, as is almost everything Dan Seal touched! And he always has me crying to this! Sincerely, bobby7771117

  • @bobby7771117 Hi,I bought one of Dan's cd's and this song was on it,

    I think it is a masterpiece,it tells a story of how a boy becomes a man,in a short time,after a talk about trees.Amazing lyrics.

Glad you liked it,not one of his well known songs, thanks for commenting.

  • Hi Barbara

The area you live in must be so lovely. just looking at your video.

We don't have bluebell woods were we live Barbara, i live in Melbourne & quite close to the city so not much country side, although i love the country & have been trying to talk my husband to move to the country, but he doesn't want to as our family all live close by. Maybe one day.

Thankyou again for the lovely song .

  • @geena6 Hi,Glad you liked Dan Seals Wood, who would think a song about moral fibre could be so lovely.

I don't know if you have bluebell woods where you live, but we have them all around here,as we have a lot of broadleaved woodland, that photograph was taken about 4 miles from where we live.

  • Beautiful song and beautiful video!!!!!!

  • @jtls8 Hi,a very favourite song of mine, what I call life coach lyrics.I think Dan Seals has a lovely voice.

  • @pastore0506 Hi,glad you liked it,unusual title but very clever lyrics,

Bluebell woods all around here,do you have bluebells in Scotland,or not as the woods are mostly conifers?

  • @BABSINUK Good lyrics!

We do have bluebells. Indeed, while the thistle is the emblem of Scotland, the bluebell is seen as the flower of Scotland and is mentioned in song and poetry.

    George

  • Yep, it's another one of my favorite Dan Seals songs. Super video, my friend----what with the top notch music and the beautiful scenes.
