In this I praise you not. For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread. And giving thanks, broke, and said: Take ye, and eat: this is my body, which shall be delivered for you: this do for the commemoration of me.
@IDH77 Fortunately Jesus Himself tells us what Jesus' true meaning is. "He that eateth My Flesh and drinketh My Blood hath everlasting life: And I will raise him up on the last day. For My Flesh is meat indeed and My Blood is drink indeed." John 6:55-56. All that is required is to believe the Bible. We must not look at the Bible and say "Oh no, Jesus couldn't have meant THAT." Jesus means what He says.
Yes, I do adore Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Have you asked Jesus if this is true? Or just Roger Oakland whom seems to be your Jesus because you are listening to him instead of Jesus who talks about this in John 6 Read the whole chapter with open heart. This is scripture and your Roger Oakland is preaching against the word. Sick of his lies!
@maddie7111 Jesus was sacrificed only ONCE! Read 1 Peter 3:18.
The apostles were Jews who knew NOTHING of Transubstantiation and understood the Lord’s Supper as SYMBOLIC the same way they understood the Seder the Passover meal.
The RCC is guilty of reading back meaning that is not in the NT. Understand the Passover and you understand the Lord’s Supper.
According to Roger Oakland's website, he started "Understanding the Times" in 1990. He started his ministry but who started his actual church? Yes, Roger
Again, I didn't ask people to beieve that a wafer is Jesus. Jesus did in John 6: 48-71.
Some people like to pick and choose what they believe. This is the true gospel. Dont know what Roger is speaking about because it is he who is speaking out against what Jesus said!
This is downright profanity, another words is profane. According to Webster dictionary, profane is "to treat something sacred with abuse, irreverent or contempt, desecrate. " Other videos you have posted and quote is Harun Yahya who is a sunni muslim, and this muslim tries to show that crusaders were bad and the muslim were peaceful people. Really? Are muslims a peaceful people today?
Jesus himself declared, "This IS my body." He did not say, "This represents my body," or "This signifies my body." He also reaffirmed this in John 6:51-66. Please also read 1 Cor 10:16-17, then 1 Cor 11:27-30." The Real Presence is a Biblical truth, and if you were truely a Sola Scripturalist, you would believe this.
@IDH77 Your point would be, what? Aristotle is not needed to discern the Real Presence. You and other Memorialists put words into our Lord's mouth which he never said. You nullify his word for the sake of your own manmade doctrine of Memorialism, which was invented by a man named Huldrych Zwingli. The Real Presence was understood from at least as far back as Paul, all the way up to the time of Zwingli. How do you explain the passages in 1 Cor that I pointed out?
@LouisvilleTorn8o I’m sorry but all Zwingli did was to bring back the original meaning of the Scriptures. Transubstantiation is NOT an apostolic teaching it’s actually derived from pagan sources not the Bible.
Read Hebrews 9 & 10 and you will see that there was only ONE utterly unrepeatable sacrifice for sin.
Transubstantiation leads to the idolatry of Eucharistic Adoration where people actually worship a piece of wafer as God!
@IDH77 The Real Presence is an Apostolic teaching. If the real presence weren't true, then why were people in 1 Cor getting sick and dying for unworthily eating and drinking of the Body and Blood of the Lord? The Eucharist is not just a symbolic memorial. It is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. ADOREMUS IN AETERNUM SANCTISSIMUM SACRAMENTUM!
@LouisvilleTorn8o If that were true then Hebrews would never have been part of the Bible because it totally refutes Transubstantiation and the sacrifice of the Mass. See Heb 10:10-14
Transubstantiation is a FRAUD! It’s a non-miracle! The wafer remains wafer the wine remains wine and there is no change whatsoever!
Worshipping a wafer is idolatry because you aren’t worshipping God but an inanimate object! See Isaiah 44:13-20.
@IDH77 John 6:55 says that Jesus's flesh is truely food, and his blood is truely drink. Some translations say real instead of truely. In the Vulgate, the word is vere, which means true, and the Hebrew word most likely would have ben amen. It doesn't get any clearer than this. A bunch of people left Jesus when he said this, because like you, they couldn't except that we have to actually eat his flesh and drink his blood.
@IDH77 They left because they couldn't except the truth. Jesus wouldn't have said that his flesh was truely food if he didn't mean it. He commanded us to eat his flesh and drink his blood, and he reitterated that same command at the Last Supper. If you put John 6:55 together with the Biblical accounts of the Last Supper, that alone is evidence enough for the validity of the Real Presence. When this truth was revealed to me, I felt like I never had truely known Him up to that point.
@LouisvilleTorn8o Repeating that like a brainwashed idiot doesn't prove anything!
Hebrews 9:25-26 NOT THAT HE SHOULD OFFER HIMSELF OFTEN, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another-- He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, ONCE at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
@IDH77 I'm a brainwashed idiot just because I repeat what's in my heart? I repeat it because the Eucharist is Jesus Christ, therefore, I adore him in the Eucharist. This is not idolatry. This is a Biblical truth, as I've already explained to you. Jesus said that if you eat his flesh and drink his blood, you remain in him, and he in you. You're not just eating and drinking his Body and Blood, but you are receiving the whole Christ. Christ is God, so we have the right to adore him.
@LouisvilleTorn8o Worshipping a THING is the very definition of idolatry!
“I am the true vine!” is he a plant? “I am the door of the sheep!” Does that mean he is a piece of wood? “I am the good shepherd!” Did he ever work as an actual shepherd?
No, no and no!
“This is my body”! Were there 2 Jesus in the room? One living and one a piece of bread? NO!
He hadn’t even been crucified yet. The RCC twists the Scriptures to their own destruction!
@IDH77 Where else in the Bible does Jesus say anything remotely like, "my flesh is truely food, and my blood is truely drink?" Emphasis is on the word "truely." When you can answer that question, we'll talk again.
And concerning "This is my body," Jesus is God. Therefore, the boundaries of even space and time have no hold over him. Why couldn't he have been in two different places and two different times at the same time? As the archangel Gabriel said, nothing is impossible with God.
@IDH77 But if Jesus was speaking symbolicly in John 6, why then, did he break bread and say, "This is my body," and take the cup and say, This is my blood?" In John 6:55, Jesus says that his flesh is truely food, and his blood is truely drink. He proved that at the Last Supper! When we receive the Eucharist, we truely receive the whole Christ!
I'll say a prayer for you before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament later this afternoon.
@IDH77 I just now read your comment. I have already prayed for you before our Lord in the Eucharistic Adoration chapel. Even if I would have read your comment before I went, you couldn't have stopped me from doing what I did. Call it idolatry, or whatever you like, but I believe that when I do this, I'm truely just feet from our blessed savior and Lord. I hope and pray that someday, you'll be blessed to discern the Real Presence of our Lord in the holy Eucharist.
@Idh77 You are putting limits on the Almighty. Neither time nor space can bind Him, and neither can anyone or anything else. Why then can't he be both in Heaven and on Earth at the exact same time? And why can't he be in two different times at the same time? He can, and he does in both cases. Who are you to put limits on what the Almighty can do?
@LouisvilleTorn8o While I appreciate the sincere gesture and I know you think you are doing the right thing the reality is when you stand before the judgment seat of Christ you will be found guilty of idolatry.
@IDH77 Just who on Earth do you think you are to judge me? Only God has the right to judge anyone, yet you condemn me, saying I'll be found guilty of idolatry on judgement day. This is a gravely serious accusation. Remember that Jesus says that you will be judged in the same measure you judged others. If I'm inocent of your charge of idolatry, and you're guilty of falsely accusing me of it, what do you think Christ would say to you on judgement day? Please read Proverbs 6:16-19...
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor IDOLATERS, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
It’s God who puts idolaters in among homosexuals and thieves!
You bow down in front of that wafer and you are one of them!
@IDH77 "You bow down in front of that wafer and you are one of them!"
But the problem with your argument is that that "wafer," as you so disrespectfully call it, is truely Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ himself physically appeared to you, and you bowed down and worshiped him, would you be committing idolatry? I'll believe the words of Christ about his Real Presence over the words of Zwingli any day!

Worshipping an inanimate object is the very definition of idolatry.

@AttorneyCJones I take it you're a Roman Catholic and believe in transubstantiation?
You do know that the apostles were Jewish NOT disciples of Aristotle?
The Passover Seder was and still is a meal of SYMBOLS!
Transubstantiation was a later Gentile PAGAN interpretation! It wasn’t the original belief of the early Christians.
IDH77 3 months ago
@IDH77 I believe in the Bible. When the Bible says that something is, it is.
AttorneyCJones 3 months ago
@AttorneyCJones You're also meant to differentiate between literal and spiritual or symbolic language!
‘This is my body’ is symbolic not literal. Otherwise we have to believe that Jesus
was literally a loaf of bread (John 6:35) a literal torch (John 8:12) or a literal vine (John 15:1).
Transubstantiation leads to the abomination of Eucharistic adoration, which is pure idolatry so that cannot have been Jesus true meaning!
IDH77 3 months ago
@IDH77 Fortunately Jesus Himself tells us what Jesus' true meaning is. "He that eateth My Flesh and drinketh My Blood hath everlasting life: And I will raise him up on the last day. @AttorneyCJones Yes Jesus did give the true meaning to John 6, a verse that Roman Catholics ALWAYS ignore to their own destruction.
(John 6:63 NKJV) It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
In other words the passage is to be understood spiritually or symbolically NOT literally!
