Takes me back too man. I was riding dirt bikes around this time (I was like 12 years old) and all my buddies loved Supercross. Jeff Stanton was my rider, and my cousin loved Damon Bradshaw. But fuck, they were all killer back then. Bayle, Mike Kiedrowski, Mike LaRocco, Jeff Emig, Doug Henry, Ezra Lusk. It was all good until McGrath came along and made it boring by winning ALL THE TIME. 1992 was the best year ever for Supercross. My man Stanton won the Supercross and the nationals that year!
It refers to my childhood such great time to me, I remember that I had recorded this report from TF1 (I'm french), picture was from ESPN. At that time it was very difficult to see some espn pictures of the US championship because medias in france didn't paied attention to motocross.
Bayle power. It's was really warmful to look this report again all the more I've lost the vhs tape. Bradshaw vs baylbe rip damon you were a great fighter.
oh yeah, BTW he passed like four guys in half a lap. and that was it. He stretched out a lead and it seemed like at that point everyone else just gave up. Awesome race!!!
I was at that race in Tampa Florida 1992. I rode the track the next day (amature races). I gained a lot of respect for those guys. Bayle was one of the best. A great race! once Bayle got in the lead he just left em all behind. He was just hanging back. I think in reality he didn't even make an effort until the last 5 laps. He just saved his energy, then smoked everyone. Great memories!! thanks for posting

The 1990s were the best racing years even, you got JmB,Stanton,Bradshaw,Larry and jeff Ward, the chicken, larocco, there wasnt just the same winner each race. those were the days.
