Can anyone tell me please, there was a movie like this where there happens to be a piano battle and a piano player plays it so fast that piano gets heated and gets burnt please i want to know the name of that movie
Attention: U.S. fans of Nobuyuki Tsujii - On October 2, 2010: Nobuyuki starts the second year of his Van Cliburn tour with a performance in Poughkeepsie, New York, with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic. He will play Chopin's Concerto #1, which you hear in this documentary in the scene where three ladies stand crying back stage while Nobuyuki performs this piece on stage: lots of people in the audience also cry when they heard this in the Bass Hall.
I knew Stephen DeGroote very well....seeing him at the time he won the Van Cliburn. Sad to die so young....I didn't know they created a memorial award in his name. Makes me kinda weepy.
My friend said this film is a great documentary (much better than money making academy awarded dolphin film he said), watching a blind pianist is like almost seeing a god. He was so moved by the performers and he made me want to watch this film! er...don't know where I can watch it now though...
