@BarbiexMuffin The pound is the currency of the UK, also known as pound sterling, which helps differentiate it from the pound that is the measurement of weight or mass.

...so why doesn't the kid call from a pay phone or someone else's house if she's so worried about getting caught?
I generally like their ads, but this one bugs with the "your mum, who you love" - is it meaning to imply that only fathers abuse their children? Because that seems a common theme with the NSPCC. Only once do I remember a female abuser in an ad, and she was only referenced, not shown.
@McKay1 actually its not implying that just dads abuse their kids, its because there is a syndrome which makes you love your parents even if they are abusing you and its quite a common thing to have. And what if the girl didnt have any money and wasnt aloud to go to a friends house? what if she didnt have any friends?

PiecesofEternity, child abuse isn't as big a problem in the U.K as some think, but it still is quite a serious problem to deal with. If you want info, type 'nspcc' or 'childline' into google.
I am planing to do a skydive ASAP to rase funds for the NSPCC every £1 we give get 1 more life saving call answered. I need to rase MIN:£400 before i can jump as the people running the jumps will then let me jump for free, so every penny will go to help so many lives.
Will you help me???? The Group name onFACEBOOK is (SKYDIVE FOR THE NSPCC) add the group and send and send me a message. thanks 4 reading
This ad implies its the dad doing the abusing because its been proved that in 90% (or more) cases it is the man.

thats a bit silly, telling children they are going to get help if they ring the NSPCC and no one is picking up the phone lol

@greenday2k2 yeah, so donate £2 a month so they can pick up the phone. The message isn't to kids, its to you!

People are so ignorant. If they were the ones being abused, Im sure they wouldnt say its "not a big problem" - idiots.
