@mdgarmager hmmm that's true I wasn't around , I was in the 4th grade when Cobain was murdered. But how come even some of the stalwarts of the grunge scene such as Mudhoney, Tad, etc acknowledge grunge as a legitimate genre? I've watched the seattle documentary so I was wondering. I guess its all alternative rock in the end

Zero Boys were a band from the neighboring state of Indiana and were a nationally known band in the 80s as well. The Didjits were more experimental and Zero Boys were a little poppier. Both great punk bands from the 80s.
