  • Shakespeare got it from Ancient African Rhetorical systems, assimilated into Greek societies much later in history. Sorry Europeans. It makes no sense to think that Europeans, despite Shakespeare, who I doubt was white, created any form of rhythm. It's no accident that rhythm in talk is a part of the African heritage;that African American's rhetorical styles and rythmic natures lead the world and are emulated by all races. Before Europe had any writing system, Africa had 27. watch?v=8V892TU8U7o

  • @ddsharper That's really cool, it's something I'd like to share with my future students. Do you have any sources for this information?

  • @pjgadbois sure. 1. here is a book youtube movies for ya. Through a critical analysis of ancient African texts... predate Greco-Roman treatises Cecil Blake revisits the roots of rhetorical theory and challenges what is often advanced as the "darkness metaphor" -- the rhetorical construction of Africa and Africans.offers a thorough examination of Ptah-hotep and core African ethical principles (Maat) and engages rhetorical scholarship within the wider discourse of African development.
