@blueangel123ful Yes, they are being paid for the show by Syfy, but the point is, they are telling people that the field itself is not a good-paying field. Most of the paranormal groups that are out there are not getting paid for investigations, and they don't want people thinking you can make a living off it.

They went a year, year and a half right before they signed with Sci Fi. Then they found a ghost every Wednesday night! BURNED!!! Hey, maybe "Mr. Clean" will get a movie deal out of it. Sure I believe in supporting my family, but not at the cost of my soul.
They might have lost their credibility among people who consider themselves serious or even academic paranormal researchers...but I don't think what they are doing is evil.
