  • Oklahoma State Cowboy fan here......Much love and condolences to Bob Sarry's family and friends! He seemed like a lovely guy.

  • A big thanks to all who have commented on the legend, Bob Barry. He will always be viewed as a true giant in Oklahoma sportscasting, as well as a great person.

  • A great, gentle, unassuming man. He treated everyone the same and had zero ego. My dad was an engineer at wky and kfor with Bob for decades and he took us golfing a couple of times...2 of the worst rounds of golf I ever played (CHOKE) and he truly suffered with me. We loved the man!! RIP Mr. Barry!!!

  • FOREVER missed... never forgotten...

    RIP...

  • A great sportscaster and a even greater person. We will miss him.

  • Some of my fondest memories as a kid were seeing my grandpa yelling in excitement at the tv while I heard bob yelling at the same time, "now at the 20, 15, 10, 5, touchdown Oklahoma!". Bobs voice will never be forgotten. RIP big bob. RIP Grandpa

  • R.I.P. Bob Barry

never will forget hearing touchdown oklahoma!!!!!!

  • I'll miss Bob. He was the best. You could be halfway across the state listening to the game on AM radio & thanks to Bobs passion, it felt like you had a seat on the 50 yard line.

    "He's at the 30 25 20 the 10 the 5 TOUCHDOWN OKLAHOMA"!

  • R.I.P. to a legend of oklahoma. you will be forever missed.

  • RIP to a legend. I think you and I know the feeling with the late Bill King (who once called Raiders games, and ended his career with Oakland A's games) and of course Chick Hearn.

  • RIP Bob you are a true Oklahoma legend

  • He was truly a unique inidividual who touched millions of Oklahomans everywhere. He represented the true Okie spirit. He will definetly be missed.
