I felt bad for Thomas...bad enough that instead of ripping out his guts like I did with his brother and dad, I continuously shot him in the back of the head with his dad's sniper as he ran away from me.

Honestly though, I would have preferred an option to save him instead of mercilessly killing him.

Dead Rising isn't a game that's really set up to allow you to avoid taking damage; it's more oriented around you taking the hit and healing up. Too many of the bosses have attacks that cannot be dodged; for example, Cliff will always hit you once at the start of your fight with him, and there's not much you can do about it.

Bosses will hit u at some point or another and while u cans omewhat evade the zombies unless ur making batches of untouchables to stop their grabs ur gonna get hit some way.
