  • I've got some visual graphics on the two-stage trigger mechanism on my YouTube channel.

  • Great vids gunner! Unfortunatly I have a little problem with airguns, and I'd be glad if You could help me. I'm looking for a new airgun, but someone recommends the .177, others recommends the .22 for magpie hunting. I saw You has a some airguns and I hope that, You could help me.

    Thanks in advance.

  • @Shiftyhun the age old question ... lol ...it really is down to individual choice , all i can say is .177 has a flatter trajectory than .22 but can sometimes drill right thru live quarry , so .177 would suit target shooting and .22 hunting , but there is no correct answer as both .177 and .22 are equally suited to target shooting and hunting

  • @gunner17722 Thank you, it helped me a lot. :)

  • @Shiftyhun

Hi im pretty new to shooting and have spoken to people who have both .177 & .22 cal.

Most will say the same thing as gunner, both are as good as eachother but in different way's..

the .177 can have a more straight and true line but loses energy faster, however the .22 is larger but can be devastating at a closer range..

    My Rifle is the

"Benjamin Trail NP .22" its a recently new rifle with a Nitrogen powered piston ram rather than C02 or Spring.

  • Didn't know that, cheers :-)
