i was in the audience for this game and the game b4, which was constance game. Was amazing atmosphere and i knew he had the 250,000 at the end but he dint go on which was a shame i wanted 2 be there wen the confetti came down =(
I was kind of disappointed with the 3rd Anniversary, I mean it shows DOND is on a decline. Although, I still LOVE the show! The cake gimmick for this episode made it easy for the banker to pitch the offers very low! £50,000 and a chance to get £100,000. Then again his last offer could be seen as £87,777.
I don't mean to be horrible, but that crying was really pathetic and uncalled for :/ it's a flipping game at the end of the game, but he took it too personally, as with most of the contestants nowadays. It's probably the main reason why I don't really watch the show anymore.
Also, the sob stories that Endemol look for are terrible. I mean come on, they've even added this question on the new application forms: "What is your worst experience?" The show has been on a decline since the beginning ..
... of the year. Eighty thousand people applied for this show, and they picked all the positive people to begin, but everyone else from about January/February this year has come complete with sob story and a good whimper. It's not what I watch the show for, and I don't think it's very appealing to people who are thinking of watching the show/people who are already watching the show and have been for a long time. Rant Over, but if you see some of the games from 2006 or even early 2007 you can...
... certainly tell a big difference. People are wanting to play the game (which is what it is there for really), having the experience of a lifetime, but the new thing is that everyone is suddenly terrified of leaving with a low value, like it was their own money to begin with. The positivity and charisma of the players a 2/3 years ago was amazing, and March06 was THE BEST period of DoND the "purists" have seen. Hopefully Endemol can start choosing contestants with the right attitude to the game
Agreed W/ you Aaron, I still luv dond but with all the gimmicks and the sad stories the players tell, the show just doesnt have the same feel to as it used to I wish Officialdealornodeal could upload some more Dond from Season 1/2006 when there were hardly any sad-story at all and there were virtually no gimmicks....except Double Deal week in June 2006 (Id love to see more vids from around that time)
He wasn't crying because of the game,He was crying because the next box was the day his brother was born and the age he had passed! So get it straight....

£50,000 could have had £200,000 more. Also a chance to win 100,000pounds had he picked a gold candle, he didnt so he left with 50,000 pounds.
