  • My great Uncle. I am a descendant of Juan Capablanca and proud of it.

  • I didn't know capablanca made some PUA videos! Mystery must of study capablanca video.

  • That was the real Capablanca alright.

  • Can you imagine? Capa, the Cuban, freezing his ass off in Moscow? They must have paid him a buttload to get him over their. If I could spend my winters in Cuba, I wouldn't visit the USSR for a trillion dollars.

  • Capablanca che grande campione

  • taking the right decision

  • great humour in this film !! Capablanca was world champion at that time, a very great champion, maybe the greatest of all time, and he's telling here to this woman, to seduct her, that he doesn't like chess !!!

excellent !! a clear move, a clear playing, like in his chess play !! ;-)) it's a game gambit, a sacrifice, to seduct a woman !

  • Capa would crush anyone in his path anytime anywhere.

  • simply the best genius player ever... el mejor genio del ajedrez de todos los tiempos... nobody will ever be like him

  • capa was the greatest (talent) !

  • fischer capablanca alekhine morphy

  • Man, would I love to see the chess tournament that cannot happen (featuring my personal top-ten chess players, in no particular order, in their primes): Fischer Morphy Rubinstein Capablanca Alekhine Tal Lasker Botvinnik Karpov Kasparov
  • @wfarnaby I think Morphy and Rubinstein would be crushed by this sort of field. I would replace them with Kramnik and Anand. Either way it would be a super srong tourney

  • The Chess Machine, as his greatest rival, Alekhine, and others called him. Simply, the greatest chess player in history.

  • :))) Girls are more important than chess pieces. This video, Fisher had to see :)))

  • I hear he did not even OWN a chess set at his home lol.. Cappa is the greatest.

  • Capa was the best!! I mean really the genius of the board

  • Bravo Capablanca!! This show me your human side.

  • That was awesome!!!

    Thanks for posting it!!

  • i wonder if hes better than Gkasp but he is execeelnt

  • Close, but no. The bar keeps being raised, but Kasp is a tough act to follow. Still, Capa was the strongest player before Fischer.

  • @danrieke The bar can only keep riseing because you stand on top of what the previeous greats did. Kasparov had about 150 years of opening theroy to look though and improve upon, some of which was created by Capa.

XD

  • Is this real? It appears to be the real Capablanca! Capablanca was one of the greatest artists of all time!

  • jajajjaja Ese Raùl, siendo campion mundial dice eso.

  • what the hell?!

  • For those who don't speak Spanish, the subtitles say:

"Leave me alone! Because of chess, I hate the whole world!"

"I understand. In the company of such a beautiful woman, I also hate chess."

"Finally I have found a fellow enemy of chess! Tell me how you have liberated yourself from chess fever."

  • Fantastic! Excellente Bien! If Capablanca had wanted he would have been a great actor as well as a fantastic chess player.

  • Man Capa sucked at acting. He looked right into the camera about a dozen times.

  • Man Capa was José Raul Capablanca y Graupera, world chess champion 1921-1927. He died in 1942.

  • I think he meant 'Man, Capa sucked at acting' - I think he knows who he was.

  • That's because the devious Pudovkin never told him he was taking part in a movie. He thought was filmed as part of a newsreel for the international chess competition taking place in the USSR. The Soviet cinema's use of montage was way ahead of the rest of the world at this time, so it's unlikely he would have ever suspected of something like this.

  • I think this clip comes from a movie called "Chess Fever" in English. "Chess Fever" was filmed in Moscow about 1925 and takes place during the Moscow 1925 International Tournament. I am sure what is in Spanish in this clip is not a translation of the Russian. Nice little joke!

  • Pretty, erm, daring for 1925

  • J.R.Capablanca , genio del ajedres.

  • if you hate chess then butt off!

  • great video!!!!!!!

  • What are they talking about?

  • Capablanca - I hate chess, when close to me there is a beautiful woman.

  • "leave me alone, because of chess I hate the world"

    "I understand"

"When I'm in the prescence of a beautiful woman, I too hate chess"

"Finally! I found someone else who hates chess."

"Tell me how you got rid of chess fever."

LOL, Capablanca must really want some Russian booty.
