Totally agree with you mate! But we cant say that or all the people in the north (who have the decent traction anyway!) Will complain we still get it all!
This really is an ace video mate. I think that was one of the best tours ever with 401 and 405 putting in a fine performance. Best bit of the day for me was 401 at Hurst Green Junction, I won't forget that thrash in a hurry!
Excellent video there mate! Plenty of thrash and clag ;-) By the end of the day I had developed a smokers cough and I don't even smoke! I think those two beasts might have something to do with it!
Hell of a video - liked and faved!

Indeed it did look to be a great tour! Was great fun chasing it actually, a few near misses occurred too :| missing the tour that is... ;)

Was that a bit of camera reactive use of the thrash handle at Woldingham? ;-) Superb video!
tutankahmun 3 years ago
Yes! And a bit of flailing involved! Of course, not as good as your planned thrash :). Thanks!

Ah - I thought from the way he opened it up it was all planned. I reckon he was definately doing it for your benefit :-D

Indeed, I was thinking "hmm c'mon open her up!" Then he did. Nice. :)

I'm sure you saw 410 whilst it was in London! Specially on The Eastbourne Flyer... Clag galore! Thanks for watching though =]

I was flailing in all the collections seen above to get the driver to thrash it, which worked in most of them.
Great day indeed!
