If SE is better, why is it ranking on No.5 of leading phone manufacturers? It's still loosing ground. Symbian UIQ (platform on which runs W950 and most of SE touchscreens) is dead, it was a flop. Now SE is using S60, the same as Nokia.
Nokia is better quality, never had good experience with SE, just K790 but the rest were pathetic.
Now I'm on my third consecutive Nokia and it's more reliable than SE.
nokia is better than SE. if any somebody gets his 1. phone it should be nokia. because its easy to learn how to use nokia. and nokia looks much better than SE. NOKIA RULES, AND SE SUCK ASS!!!!!!!

You cant judge a phone BASES on its sound quality, ESPECIALLY if you play a loud song on one and a soft song on the other. Its like playing rock on 1 phone and the whisper song on the other and then saying the rock one was way better......

The Walkman950i is obviously and supposedly designed for that exact purpose ,BUT it seems to me that it only has 1 speaker whereas the n95 is a stereo unit. (which means it has 2 speakers, (one on each side)) i apologize if im to specific but ppl seem to have trouble seeing the blatantly obvious >=\

For sound quality through heaphones, yes. In regards to usability, versatility and quality you'd have to find someone with a N95 that actually works before commenting. You either haven't had one for long or just don't have one. Its yet another Nokia handset thats been released before its ready essentially making any purchasers unpaid beta testers.

Hahahaha As Hol u have to put Acustics into the SE DOM As and would be more louder than n95 and n95 quality sound SUKS walkman handsets are awason put MegaBass and new acustics and u would see the BIG difference SE RULES nokia n95 have many problems SUKS and try to do with a SE w960 Geek SE rocks ;)

LOL ok relax mate im only sorta takin' the piss outa ya now. The w950 is a nice little phone and i like the jog dial on the side and, Well i spose thesmudgescreen has its advantages , tho this particular model seems quite less responsive in areas such as scrolling and drawing than others. BTW i also still owna K800i.Will say i miss the camera functionality of it.n95 can do most of it , but- i dunno... nokia just seem to make it a little more 'BangYourHeadUpAgainstTheWall~ish' caus ita 5mp.

ALSO the n95 has a 3.5mm stereo jack which allows me to hook directly via digital audio cable into any digital sound system of ANY brand anywhere in the universe...NOT just phone brand specific sound hardware extension

The Walkman950i is obviously and supposedly designed for that exact purpose ,BUT it seems to me that it only has 1 speaker whereas the n95 is a stereo unit. (which means it has 2 speakers, (one on each side)) i apologize if im to specific but ppl seem to have trouble seeing the blatantly obvious >=\

lol the whole versus thing wasn't about which is better.
It was about which is louder, and u can clearly tell that the speaker on the N95 is louder.
but if i was sitting in a train from Parramatta to Central and some fktrd started playing music via the phones speakers I'd tell him or her where to go.

Sony Ericsson is much better than nokia by all features and the sound may be louder in N95 but the quality is really poor listen carefully to W950i beside u should compare n95 with newest model from SE

how did the nokia do better? the sound was way more distorted and treble filled. the ericsson had a way more bass crisp sound that i preferred 10 times more.

Almost completely worthless comparison. Ooh the speakers are louder on a N95, so? How about actual sound quality when using headphones or through external speakers.

so you're saying that SE is better than the N95?? SE and Nokia, in my opinion are the best two manufacturers, but the N95 goes WAY beyond ANY device, whether in terms of quality, usability and versatility, and also, sadly, in price. But still it is the best device around

For sound quality through heaphones, yes. In regards to usability, versatility and quality you'd have to find someone with a N95 that actually works before commenting. You either haven't had one for long or just don't have one. Its yet another Nokia handset thats been released before its ready essentially making any purchasers unpaid beta testers.
