  • I was watching them do this November 15 th 2011 in Wellton, AZ which is east of Yuma. I'm a pilot, but I wouldn't ever do this. That is some flying skill. At night, with 5 lights on the turbo prop aircraft, which I couldn't see...because it's night, was just really cool to watch.

  • Thanks!

  • WOW what a skilled pilot. Would think there would be enough stress just doing that during the day not to mention at night.

  • Check my channel.....I'm flying along with one of monticello flying service....

  • We have a ag pilot here my town , used to fly in Arizoni ,says it was so hot you had to fly at night !

  • y at night....must of just got dark and needing to finish

  • @jherrington79 Most of our summer work is at night here

  • My father used to do this kind of flights daily because of the constant high wind speed that we have had here in Argentina. But that was on the early 80's with a PA-25 (Piper Pawnee) without gps, or any satloc sistem that we can usually add to crop dusting planes nowadays.

  • How the hell do you see the power lines? seriouse fly by the ass of your pants thing wow. pretty bad ass man!

  • crop dusters are some of the best pilots in the world. happy landings.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • why you not using the bar light??? you not really spraying are you ??

    just practicing ??

  • @stealhty1 Did you watch this video?

  • That is intense. You have bigger balls than me, for whatever that's worth lol.

  • That's a bit insane. No offense.

  • None taken,

  • Never heard of spraying at night, must be too hot in the day

  • Pretty hot, At night there's less field workers and Bee's aren't as much a problem either

  • I've flown a lot of planes for a quite a few years and would love to get into ag aviation at some point.

But not at night. Stones not big enough.

  • Don't sell yourself short, my stones are average size,

    --For a Cropduster--

  • It's all relative I guess.

I didn't see your daytime videos, it is pretty flat out there and not a tree in sight.

Are you in Canada? Just guessing from the CN...

  • you have some seriouse balls thats a true profesional

  • How far is the visual range with these lights ?

  • On a good night 3/4 mile, you can't really tell on the video

  • amazing this movie

    good job!!!

  • More difficult than that ...just Aircraft Carryer night landing. Congratulations

  • We're using the same flashing light that's on road construction signs

  • What sort of lighting are you using for paddock makers to help identify at night and how about some micheal jackson back ground music in you're next flick!

  • too cool CN i used to work for tri air in firebaugh ca and took a few rides at mnite sitting on the right hand side of the cockpit in a 1820 viper thrush better then any rollercoster ride it the world

  • What strength of lights do you use to luminate the field and do you have a luminated instrument panel too? I think you must have many hours flying before you can do this, for this is seat of the pants flying and you do everything without thinking about it. Pity your Thrush have only one seat. Would like to feel this experience once.

  • 3 600 watt lights. There are some dual cockpit thrushes but not where i work

  • Nice! your really smooth.

Do you have a light for your turns? What time of night do you usually fly?

    thanks

  • Thanks

We have turn lights but I rarely use them.

We'll usually start late in the afternoon and fly until the work is done
