wow, it just looks so easy. : ) i am using molex to molex to get from one circuit board to another, very fiddly work. Are these home made ribbon connectors very reliable?

I bought some IDC 50-way crimping connectors and ribbon cable. but had no idea how to put them together, and it was almost impossible to find a tutorial.. until I saw this! wish I had a vice though, woulda been much easier, I just hit it with the nose of my pliers till they went flush lol.. thanks again! :D
