I've been telling people for awhile that DmC is NOT a prequel ( and in all honesty, why have a prequel to a prequel?) But a entirely new Lore of the DmC universe. Dante has ALWAYS had white hair, and even the World DmC is set in is so...not like the current World. All in All, I wish they would just come out and tell people that it is in fact a new story set in a new realm and not connected to the current Universe.

@GerMulay Well, in Resident Evil's defense, they are rebooting the series with Resident Evil 6, and with Revelations on the 3DS, which they are trying to stick to the original 'horror' scheme, instead of fast-paced action, not to mention, With Resident Evil 6 is supposed to be more team-based, seeing as how they are working with a lead developer for SOCOM. Aside from that..Steve is dead, and Billy Coen..He is MIA. Maybe he will come back, maybe not. Alex wesker is the same case. Might come back.

I don't like the fact that they went to the extreme in defining Dante's path either but it's still Dmc regardless of how weird Dante looks. Technically it did. It may have been in 2009 when it came out, but the Alternative version (or Gold) came out in 2010 but then again that's due to having every DLC on with it. I don't consider 2 years being a long time. If you still disagree, then I guess that is your opinion.
