It actually is DCC, but it is being controlled by a PC Computer running RR & Co Train Controller software. The computer communicates with my Digitrax DCS 200 DCC Command station via a USB to loconet converter. The converter costs about $70. The computer program comes in three versions starting at about $250 up to about $600. The detection units are BDL 168's they cover 16 detection sections at about $150 each. The signals and turnout are run by SE8C's. They control 8 turnouts, signals. $150
Thanks. It forced me to develope new skills. Ironically this all started because used to an still enjoy a few from my beer fridge under the layout when I ran the trains. I would run multiple trains, but the beer encouraged more accidents. Now the computer runs them so I can relax and enjoy.
Neat video
