  • I hate the fake side scoops and hood scoops that come on the 99-04s

  • Wow thats the first Mustang supershaker i've actually seen move.

  • do you have to remove that big bar?

  • Yes, the strut tower brace must be removed to accommodate the Shaker Hood Scoop

  • my car went 12.37s with this shaker, ford cams, ford 4:30 gears. Great job guys

  • just added this to my 2010 GT with hot rod cams and it dynoed 311 rear horsepower

  • @shelbygtcaral Forgot to add that the car had 4:30 gears so its showing less hp than it would with the stock 3:31. Went from 276 to 311 with just these two items

  • what happens when a buncha bugs get sucked in there?.. proly a dumb question i guess cuz it still hhas to pass through the air filter

  • it doesn't add any hp, just looks cool. I've got an 03 Mach 1, trust me..the ram air doesn't do a thing except look extremely kick ass.

  • uuhhhh, it actually does add extra HP. You are ramming air into the engine. You get a 15-20 HP increase

  • @GoTigersJoe are you kidding me, of course its gonna add hp, you may not notice a big difference because you already have a mach 1 but on any stock mustang you will feel a difference

  • @GoTigersJoe forcing cold ait into the engine faster than you are driver adds 10-50 hp.

  • looks & sounds great

  • man that looks good!!!!!!

  • How much HP does this kit add? Can it be used on a 2008 Bullitt Mustang?

  • It doesn't add any horse power that a dyno can see....but I would not put that on a bullitt, well mine anyway. It will ram air into your engine at higher speeds though. That is the only advantage.

  • Sounds mean!

  • nice! great addition to any Stang... reminds me of the classic 69 Mach 1 with the shaker hood... I myself have a 2003 Mach1... see my vids for sound clips =)

  • imsure you might be able to find an aftermarket kit for it. tho maybe not

  • It is designed specifically to work on the 3V 4.6L engine and physically to work with the height of the engine in relationship to the clearance of the hood. There is a kit for the 2005 -2009 Mustang and a kit for the 2010 due to the hood being redesigned.

Fit and finish on your T-bird would be risky. Too much clearance will cause a loose seal against shaker scoop - letting water in, and not enough clearance will have the shaker rubbing against the hood or prevent the hood from closing.

  • can this be installed on a 1994 thunderbird lx?
