I LOVE Jordan kicking Stockton down on that game winner in Game 6. Otherwise Kerr get's a very contested shot. Stern allowed MJ to get away with anything he wanted. Joke.
Damn man how unlucky can you be. Stockton and Malone make it to the NBA finals two years in a row and both times they run into a guy named Michael Jordan.
que estrellas del basquet del pasado y siguen vigentes en nuestra mente i love you jazz utha¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡los mejores karl y stockton los mejores de la nba
how was #2 a better play than #3? it was just a terrible pass and pippen is good. should have been #1: Jordan's game 1 winner, #2 Stockton full-court pass over Malone's shoulder, #3 Kerr's game 6 winner -- i mean, if it's best plays. if it's "most important plays" then they got it right. but if it's best plays, they didn't get it right.
great series- great memories, when I look back upon this series :) Now and 13 years ago- nba Where at 3 00 o clock in the mourning standing up and watching nba happens :):)
Really #4 was the most important. It set up the double team in game 6 which allowed Kerr to hit his shot (#1) play and Scottie's steal and Kukoc's dunk (#2) play. Scottie played great in this series, Jordan himself said he (Scottie) was his m.v.p.
I remember a year ago I had a really bad stomach virus where I missed 2 days of work and couldn't get out of bed. For Michael Jordan to do what he did in the Flu Game is the most unreal and un........ .. damn can't think of any other words, xcpt Jordan's wasn't human
im not saying the bulls dont deserve all those titles they won they were great but the 98 finals the jazz would have won if the reffs werent idiots stocktons 3 pointer was so in the air by the time the buzzer rang and that was a push at the end the bulls deserve their glory but the jazz deserve more glory then their remembered for.
That Stockton/Malone combo was a deadly one. Two of the best of that era. They just had the misfortune of having to deal with some guy by the name of Michael Jordan. :D
Sorry, I was referring to MJ and Pippen beating Stockton and Malone (whom subsequently destroyed Shaq and Kobe twice). Those were heavyweight matchups. I really wanted Stockton to win one before it was all over. Too bad he played in the Magic, Bird and Jordan era.
And sure, it was Kobe's younger years, but either way, the record still stands.
#5 (game 5): the flu game. jordan's most amazing game! sheer will & determination!
#1 (game 6): during the timeout, kerr told jordan that if you need me i'll be ready.. what happens next? jordan gets doubled then finds kerr for the shot-clock beating jumper that gave them the lead with 5 sec left
#2 (game 6): the pippen steal, then dive pass to kukoc for the dunk with the clock winding down! oh man, so many memories! lol
This is one of the worst order's i have ever seen! In what order will Jordan's flu game, one of the best games in NBA History, be number 5?!?! Ridiculous! Great vid though - luv Pip's facial on Malone - POSTER!!!
the jazz were definitely were worthy adversaries in the 1997 finals that year... it wasnt a case of the bulls out-playing the jazz.. but in most situations a matter of bad luck!
Michael Jordan's buzzer-beater in Game 1 came at #4; Stockton's long pass to Malone in Game 4 came at #3; Pippen's steal in the final seconds of Game 6 came at #2; moments earlier, Steve Kerr's game-winner came at #1
@Comalies1986 Thanks dude, but I'm not sure. I just searched for and listened to that song on youtube and while it sounds very similar in terms of the notes used, the instrumentation sounds very different. Maybe this one is a remix of it or something? There's also another NBA related song I'm dying to find the composer of - it's heard on the video "Airtime: The Jordan Years" during the highlights of the 1992 Knicks/Bulls series. Wish I could find it.
I LOVE Jordan kicking Stockton down on that game winner in Game 6. Otherwise Kerr get's a very contested shot. Stern allowed MJ to get away with anything he wanted. Joke.

number 5 was great, but it also was a carry
peaksideprince 2 years ago
That's not a carry, he picked up his dribble and took the steps he's allowed before putting up the shot.
Naraku95 2 years ago
he was holding the ball, jus watch it again u see he dribbles then takes the ball under his arm then goes for the fade .
peaksideprince 2 years ago
It doesn't matter what you do with the ball once you pick up your dribble, as long as you shoot or pass after your second step. Check the rulebook.

not even remotly close to a carry

I think that the Bulls had that mental edge over their opponents. Thats what made them so good.

Yup... they also destroyed Shaq and KB.

The Bulls never beat that combination in the Finals. When the Bulls played the Lakers in the '91 Finals, neither guy was even in the league.
