I believe that 1800s log cabins reflected the hardships of life on the North American frontier. Log cabins those days fulfilled more of the people's basic needs. This is amazing!

My great grandfather had land out that way , it was sold to some of the park years back , your home is amazing and I applaud you for living in "simple" times . I've dreamed about living like this for years , but my bad credit keeps me from doing it lol . Decorate it the way it should be , Primitive style . Anything else would look plain stupid .

wow that is very cool. I would refinish that as well if it was on my property. It is amazing how horribly built our homes are now and we are supposed to have come further as a civilization. I hope to build a log cabin on my own one day.Thanks for sharing.
