@bsully77 No, not really. This song is about the struggles of soldiers and the absurdity of war for the men on the lines. Literally the entire song is about him struggling with the things he has to do and how he misses his family. Is his family proud of him or are they ashamed? Is he doing the right thing?

How you get anti-war out of any of these lyrics is beyond me. Maybe because it sucks for the solider? Either way, you're wrong :-/

Everlast is an artist for the ages, his words play on your emotions from one end of the spectrum to the other. This along with several of his other songs really make you look at the human aspect of all....... good or bad, take your pick but, you cannot deny many od his songs that.
