I think that all vampires have souls, and the Cullen definitely do, because they're the most gracious, kind vampires. I think that it's their choice to be good or evil, and if they act like they have a soul or not.

Vampires do have souls. Especially the Cullens. Think about it, there're people out there that go and murder people everyday, and then there're nice people who could never hurt a fly and get bitten by a vampire, it doesn't mean they don't have a soul. Like Carlisle did when he got bitten, he controlled himself and he is the nicest person ever who could never harm anybody. He then became a doctor and saves lives everyday.

I honestly think that it's a possibility for all vampires in the books to lose their souls when their changed. They are driven to live a life of a vampire and feed off of humans. But with that being said, I think that once a vampire has chosen to reject their nature and become more civilized(i.e. drink animal blood instead), their soul is returned to them. Causing them to form true bonds of love. IDK... just my take on it.

Good job! I love the part of the book about the car. She realizes just how much Edward worries about her safety. The night before the wedding is sweet. Edward & Bella just want to be with each other all the time. Jasper & Emmett are funny here too.

Ok, ClevverTV, please read the books before you do a book club. I won't list the mistakes you made since they have already been pointed out by may others, but remember true twi fans have the books several times over and know the story very well.
If your going to do a book club use the hardback version versus the paperback. I think it helps with the authantisity. The part you read from the preface was about the baby Bella is going to carry Its similar to the preface to Twilight about Bella willing to die for Edward. The dream is about Bella protecting this GREEN eyed boy (like Edwards) from the voltori, then later after hearing the story about the immortal children the dream turn dark and the green eyed boy is on a pile of dead bodies.KS

Stephenie Meyer address on her website that the Guardian isn't a car that exists, but is similar to one that does exist. And the before/after is for when she's changed, not the wedding.
If you've read the previous books you would know what Renee meant by her saying Bella wasn't like most teenagers.

I got married when I was 19, so did my brother and sister. My other brother got married when he was 30. We are all different, and all very happily married. These days many people consider it wrong to get married young, and I'm sure for alot of people it is wrong, but for some people it is the right thing to do :) By the way I agree, the before and after cars make awesome symbolism!

ummm where in the books does it EVER say edward fought in a world war? these chicks need to learn to read properly... your whats wrong with journalism. edward was changed in 1918... and WW1 was from 1914-1918ish... and he died at 17.. so the war started when he was 13... what 13 yr old fights in a world war??? and i doubt carlisle, volturi would let a vampire fight in a war where they cant die? wouldnt someone notice that this guys getting shot at but he isnt dying at all? reread the books!
Have you not read Midnight Sun?? The thing between Edward and Tanya wasnt a hundred years ago. It was during Twilight, after he sees Bella for the first time, he goes to Alaska. He turns Tanya down and realises he has fallen for Bella

2.the mercedes guardian is a fictional car steph created, it´s supposed to be something like the updated version of the mercedes guard.

If your going to do a book club use the hardback version versus the paperback. I think it helps with the authantisity. The part you read from the preface was about the baby Bella is going to carry Its similar to the preface to Twilight about Bella willing to die for Edward. The dream is about Bella protecting this GREEN eyed boy (like Edwards) from the voltori, then later after hearing the story about the immortal children the dream turn dark and the green eyed boy is on a pile of dead bodies.KS

there r two kinds of souls. evil and good. i believe everyone has a soul, even the vampires. the ones who go around killing and never feel guilty about it or just dont care of course have evil souls which u cant really do anything about. the cullens and vampires like them have good souls because they try not 2 hurt ppl and they just want as normal a life as possible. but not all vampires that kill humans have bad souls. some dont want 2 but feel they arent strong enough not 2 kill. it depends.

i think it's sweet that he didn't want to go to a bachelor party. in the book he mentions that bachelor parties are for guys who are sad to see their single life end. he's been alone for 100 YEARS. i think he'd rather stay and kiss bella all night ;)

Stephenie Meyer address on her website that the Guardian isn't a car that exists, but is similar to one that does exist. And the before/after is for when she's changed, not the wedding.
If you've read the previous books you would know what Renee meant by her saying Bella wasn't like most teenagers.

Okay calm down about the preface people :O it doesnt actually say Edward or Renesmee, and they are not the only ones who were mistaken, i assumed it meant Edward too. It sounds kinda similar to the bit from the first twilight "But dying in the place of someone i love, seems like a good way to go" or word to that effect lol :)

I got married when I was 19, so did my brother and sister. My other brother got married when he was 30. We are all different, and all very happily married. These days many people consider it wrong to get married young, and I'm sure for alot of people it is wrong, but for some people it is the right thing to do :) By the way I agree, the before and after cars make awesome symbolism!
p.s. the preface is totally referring to Renesmee, not Edward!

ummm where in the books does it EVER say edward fought in a world war? these chicks need to learn to read properly... your whats wrong with journalism. edward was changed in 1918... and WW1 was from 1914-1918ish... and he died at 17.. so the war started when he was 13... what 13 yr old fights in a world war??? and i doubt carlisle, volturi would let a vampire fight in a war where they cant die? wouldnt someone notice that this guys getting shot at but he isnt dying at all? reread the books!

Have you not read Midnight Sun?? The thing between Edward and Tanya wasnt a hundred years ago. It was during Twilight, after he sees Bella for the first time, he goes to Alaska. He turns Tanya down and realises he has fallen for Bella

Um i think the Cullen's have soul's cause they are conscience of what they do while other vampires just look humans like something to eat. the preface was actually talking about Renesmee not Edward. Tanya is so not Edward's ex or semi ex ! Edward never liked her or had anything with her! so it isnt weird for Edward to invite her. as for Edward not wanting to go to the bachelor party i dont think it's weird, i think its fine that they want to spend time together! can't wait for the next episode!
