lol u have a good point but the crf450x would have a greater top speed then the 250r cus the gear ratio of the 250r is tuned for acceleration, so if its tracks your talking abt yea ull smoke him, but on trails, thats a different story or on straights

Big Bikes like that are hard to start period. I know from my 450r, and 250r's. My friend has a Husaburg 400, and I dont know if anyones ever heard of them but oh my gosh, your so tired you dont want to ride after you get it started.
man... all of you slammin' about the electric start. Its the same bike! I've got an '03 CRF450R (kick start version of this bike), and I've ridden the 450X. Set them side-by side and the only diff is the lights, electric start, odometer, and the gear ratio spacing (as if you needed anything higher than 3rd! hehe)
Electric starts arent lame on a big bike like that.
Maybe if you were a real rider you would know that its a bitch to get those bikes started when your all geared up and there even harder to start when there hot after a long ride.
