I'm not a pro in that but according to what I know roscopia is done with a projector that projects the film's frames under your animation table so you can copy each frames of the film. Basically you just copy the film.

al parecer primero grabaron el video don camara digital, despues con algun sofware como premier sacaron cuadro por cuadro las imagenes del video posiblemente a 12 fps y despues usaron un sofware de edicion de imagenes como photoshop.
