looks pritty good im making a mini one that fits onto the concrete fence post its solid wood and sanded down to a semi circle to fit on the post real good and i made it for nothing as my dad had old wood in his workshop.
Regarding rude comments and not practicing on cam......I agree wholeheartedly.... Great vid on a cheap dummy.....Was thinking of making one now you gave me a cheaper way. Thanx.
Good job, brother! This is how it all started. Thousand moons ago, there was no martial art supply store, everyone build their own equipment. Key point is it must fit one's own needs. This on might fit Handinfire but not fit for my need or my space. Being a complete martial artist means one must know how to follow tradition but also how to use one's brain to be creative. Thanks for posting....☺...
i got real dummy at home but lookin to make cheap easy one to use in old out building at work i like the simple sturdy arm fixings thanks for the idea
@llamallama2007 I did that a while ago and yes I did have to redesign the base but works great now. Still no replacement for the real deal but hope you can get some good ideas for yours. Best of luck and hope to see a posted video when your finished. Cheers
THIS is exactly what I need . Great work man . I have been thinking about this for a while now and am now going to follow your design .Simple and useful . Thanks for the inspiration !!
That is definitely an improvement to the original design. Please let me know how good those arms hold on after some abuse. The extra legs are awesome. I can see a lot of practice opportunities on them.
In one word: terriffic ! Thanks very much for making it a video response.

Looks quite good. But it doesn't look like you could apply much force against it before it falls over.
I'm going to be making my own one shortly. Planning how to go about it though.

@llamallama2007 also it never tips over but did move around a lot. Recommend about 80 to 100 lbs of sand/ weight.

@handinfire Thanks, I think i'll go with the frame though to hold it in position. :P
