In English under the word Begotten in the dictionary says 1.(especially of a male parent) to procreate or generate (offspring). This shows Jesus was the only born son of God.

I to am a follower of Christ. But unkind words are not showing your brotherly love. The scriptures tell us Jesus was tempted. He turned away from Satan, but the scriptures do not lie. His response was that it is God alone we must worship.
@Godlovestruth Maybe you need to know what is meant by tempted. You're right. Scripture doesn't lie. And it says Jesus was sinless. If He ever had the temptation to actually commit sin then that wouldn't be true. Coz even the though to sin, is a sin. Are you really a followerer of Christ? Or just some religious person without the spirit dwelling in you. As far as unkind words, you speak many. I don't bite my tongue on the Gospel. @DeeStinger1 The scripture would not use the word Tempted if it was not the case. It is not me saying Jesus was temped. It was Luke who used the word. I do not speak unkind words. @Godlovestruth You have to consider thast scripture always uses words that aren't what they appear. Words have soooo many different meanings in the original text. Bottom line is that Jesus never had the desire to commit sin. He was dared but never submitted. As scripture says, God can't be tempted. @DeeStinger1 It is your consideration of the word tempted that is incomplete. Websters Dictionary defines tempted as "Enticed to evil; provoked; tried". A person may be "enticed" two distinct ways:
1) From within ones self, personal desires due to human imperfection
2) External factors can be used to "entice" a person into a wrong course.
The "temptation" was an attempt by the Devil to "to induce (Jesus) to sin," Jesus did not experience any desire within himself that he need to resist.
The Spirit knows who Jesus is. It's the world who doesn't. Do you have the Spirit which comes to dwell in you at the moment of rebirth? (John 3:7) If you're not Born Again, you're still just a carnal, natural man of the world (1Cor.2:14) and the things of the Spirit are foolishness to you. So you can't accept that JESUS IS GOD. If you're not born again, but religious, (Matt.7:21-23) applies to you. You're just "religious" and He doesn't know you coz you were never born of His Spirit.
@lizazoon (John3:7) You MUST BE Born Again. Born into HIS Family. Otherwise (Matt.7:23) He doesn't know you. Just as you don't know the child whom was never born into your family. It is not our place to say who and who is not born of sprit. You feel Jesus is God. I feel differently because of research. I am not taking any glory from Jesus. You do not know me at all yet you want to judge that I am just "religious".

But its in som hadith which is written by human centuries after Muhammad's death .There is a fabricated hadith which means “The first creation is your Prophet, O Jabir. Allah created your Prophet from His Light before creating the other things.” This is fabricated. Some people claim that ^Abdur-Razzaq narrated this in his book Al-Musanna but this is not true. More than one scholar of hadith said that this hadith is not sahih. Among them is Al-Hafizh As-Suyutiyy and Al-Hafizh Al-Ghummariyy.
I think its in human nature to idolize the apostles sent by GOD for tdelivering GOD's message. GOD gives miracle to the messengers as a proof so that people can belive in them. But after their death as time goes by they become legends and we start idolizing them and attribute false stories about their devinity. As a born muslim when I was kid I was told by elders that Muhammad was made of noor (which GOD is made of) and but when i grew up I could not find this hin Quran !!!

Jesus is the son of God, the first of many brethren, who are accounted as sons and daughters of God ONLY because he died for their sins. He is the only way TO the Father. He claimed to be ONE with the father, and to have authority to forgive sins. For this he was crucified. Either Jesus died for your sins or you believe his claim was wrong and they were right to crucify him. Try not to get too hung up on the technicalities, but seek the Spirit in all things.

The fact that Christ prayed to a higher being (Matt 26:39, Luke 6:12) is sufficient proof that he is NOT God as God doesn’t indulge in doing prayers.
Jesus is NOT the only son of God as God has sons by the tons (Gen 6:2, 4; Exodus 4:22 ; Jeremiah 31:9; Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7).
And being son of God DOESN’T make Jesus part of the Godhead but merely as God’s righteous servant (Abdullah in Arabic) as attested in Mark 15:39 c.f. Luke 23:47 as well as Acts 3:13 , 26; 4:27 , 30.

GOD (YHWH) is eternal, having neither a beginning nor end and exists uncreated; HE is the only person to whom that description properly applies. If Jesus says that he has a GOD, is it really reasonable to conclude that Jesus is that same uncreated GOD? If Jesus is not that uncreated GOD then he must have been created and therefore had a beginning.

@usedbrain Jesus has no beginning. He was never a created being. (John 1:1) says In the "Beginning", which was before all things, before any creation, before time. Was the Word (Jesus). And the Word was WITH GOD (proclaiming the existance of "trinity"), and the Word WAS GOD. Clearly states that Jesus IS GOD. He was in the beginning WITH God, as was the Holy Spirit, and IS God, as is the Holy Spirit. This is the three-in-one "Trinity" which the world can not receive.

In order to believe that John 1:1 is translated correctly as "the WORD was God" you must disregard the rest of scripture.

@DeeStinger1 At John 13:16 Jesus states the principle that someone "sent" is subordinate to the one who is the "sender". In the gospels, Jesus repeatedly spoke of himself as being "sent". Where was he when he was sent? In heaven.
1Cor11:3; 15:23,24 2Cor 1:3 Romans 15: 5,6 all indicate that the Father is Jesus God/Head. Heb 5:8 tells us the Jesus learned obedience. To whom did he "learn" that obedience? To Himself? No...to his GOD.

In English under the word Begotten in the dictionary says 1.(especially of a male parent) to procreate or generate (offspring). This shows Jesus was the only born son of God.

The KJV states that Jesus WAS the only begotten of the Father; but now, because of the NEW BIRTH, Jesus is now the "...FIRST-born among many brethren."
The Bible is an historical document: but it is different in that it is Spirit-breathed, and able to give life to as many as believe.

@Godlovestruth You have to consider thast scripture always uses words that aren't what they appear. Words have soooo many different meanings in the original text. Bottom line is that Jesus never had the desire to commit sin. He was dared but never submitted. As scripture says, God can't be tempted. @DeeStinger1 It is your consideration of the word tempted that is incomplete. Websters Dictionary defines tempted as "Enticed to evil; provoked; tried". A person may be "enticed" two distinct ways:
1) From within ones self, personal desires due to human imperfection
2) External factors can be used to "entice" a person into a wrong course.
The "temptation" was an attempt by the Devil to "to induce (Jesus) to sin," Jesus did not experience any desire within himself that he need to resist.

The Spirit knows who Jesus is. It's the world who doesn't. Do you have the Spirit which comes to dwell in you at the moment of rebirth? (John 3:7) If you're not Born Again, you're still just a carnal, natural man of the world (1Cor.2:14) and the things of the Spirit are foolishness to you. So you can't accept that JESUS IS GOD. If you're not born again, but religious, (Matt.7:21-23) applies to you. You're just "religious" and He doesn't know you coz you were never born of His Spirit.

Your beliefs are only temporary. How sad it will be to be told, "Depart From Me". When all you had to do was just believe. Eternity is too long, and hell is too hot.

@DeeStinger1 In the same chapter of Matt it also says in verse 1&2, 1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." It is not our place to say who and who is not born of sprit. You feel Jesus is God. I feel differently because of research. I am not taking any glory from Jesus. You do not know me at all yet you want to judge that I am just "religious".

That's foolishness to the world coz they don't have the spirit to comprehend spiritual things.(1Cor.2:14). There are just "religious" people out here (Matt. 7:21-23) and they can be pointed out by what they say about Jesus. That's not judging. That's spiritual discernment.

Some think it coz they say they believe in Jesus (satan believes too). Some think it coz they read, study, research and may have hade a mental conversion. So i think both the Muslims HADITHs and Cristian GOSPELs has a similarity... Both written by so called religious scholars(Bukhari , Muslim etc for hadiths and John , Mark, Luke etc ) after Muhammad and Jesus's death...Both full of false stories which contradicts between writers/ narrators... Both try to deitify the Apostles making them legends and we start idolizing them reading these historical accounts which is not reliable..

But its in som hadith which is written by human centuries after Muhammad's death .There is a fabricated hadith which means “The first creation is your Prophet, O Jabir. Allah created your Prophet from His Light before creating the other things.” This is fabricated. Some people claim that ^Abdur-Razzaq narrated this in his book Al-Musanna but this is not true. More than one scholar of hadith said that this hadith is not sahih. Among them is Al-Hafizh As-Suyutiyy and Al-Hafizh Al-Ghummariyy.

I think its in human nature to idolize the apostles sent by GOD for tdelivering GOD's message. GOD gives miracle to the messengers as a proof so that people can belive in them. But after their death as time goes by they become legends and we start idolizing them and attribute false stories about their devinity. As a born muslim when I was kid I was told by elders that Muhammad was made of noor (which GOD is made of) and but when i grew up I could not find this hin Quran !!!

its funny how all the religious debates out there are based on scripture, which is always tampered with throughout all these years on earth..but no one ever debates the spiritual side of things.....from personal experience, when dealing with demons,(if u dont believe in that sort of thing, the lies are working), the only One that has authority over these entities is Jesus!!

Matthew 7:23 perhaps you should put from verse 21 itself. In 21 he says "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
This clearly show the first criteria you should accept Jesus as Lord, then do will of our Heavenly Father.

Being crucified back then was like the death penalty now a days. But, God sent himself in man's image - Jesus Christ to die for man's sin. Jesus himself didn't want to be killed, but he eventually accepted the sacrifice to die for man's sins who killed him. It was not the Jews but the sinners who killed him.

At John 13:16 Jesus states a fact: "I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him."
Earlier Jesus stated at John 5:36, "...the Father hath sent me."
Where was Jesus when He was "sent"? He was in heaven, as a spirit being, when he was sent. The FATHER (YHWH) was Jesus' God and as such, had the authority to SEND him.

I love how everyone uses these 2 verses to prove that Jesus is not God but throughout the bible there SEVERAL verses that point out that God is indeed a Tri-being.

Jesus is 100% God and 100% man. He purposely came down from heaven to die for the sins of all mankind. He is God in the flesh that is why His sacrifice is the perfect sacrifice. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. God's kingdom is not of this world and to enter it one must turn from sin to God thru His Son. Heaven is without sin. Man is a sinner. Man must be cleansed.
